Aurora adware

Post by kheegster »

After installing the latest Firefox update, I seem to be infected by a particularly nasty piece of adware that I can't seem to get rid off... it says something like 'Aurora: Part of the DMI Network' at top of the pop-up. My trial version of Spyware Doctor doesn't seem to be able to pick it up.

Anyone else affected by this?

kheegan: What else did you install lately? Firefox has never been loaded with any sort of adware, unless you grabbed a hacked installer from a third-party site. In any case, Bounty's links should be sufficient to deal with it.
