Courscant was really counted? He came in and dropped astroids, ruining some ships in the process.
The real purpose of the attack on Coruscant was to tie up NR ships & resources, a.k.a bottling them up.

Exactly my point, BECAUSE Thrawn knew in a normal fight the NR could commit vastly greater forces.

So he traps them and ties them up dealing with a dozen small conflicts.

That the NR was not so de-militerized as to allow 200 Frigates to massively tip the balence of power.

But they were, if Thrawn provided such a threat that the Republic used the majority of their fleet and best pilots to defeat him at Bilbringi, then I think that indicates the 200 dreadnaughts tipped the balance of power considerably. After all, before this, the Empire and Republic were supposedly equal in military strength.

Notice that in Bilbringi no dreadnaughts are mentioned, its the last addition that unbalences.

Notice that Thrawn was still advancing before taking the Katana fleet, he just speeded up, which is also inpart thanks to his supply of superior clones, not just because of the Dreadnaughts.

It only mentions a handful of ships, their lack of mention doesn't mean they are not there. It didn't give an Order of Battle.

He captured a few virtually undefended planets with a brilliant trick. His trick was quickly discovered and no more planets were said to be captured by him until the capture of the Dark Force. His clones allowed him to crew the dreadnaughts.
