the ship could even survive the supernovas if it was used from a sufficient distance.
I can survive a supernova if I'm a sufficient distance away.

In “Star Wars - The Clone Wars” computer game there is an ancient sith weapon. It has two parts.

First the harvester. This would suck the life/force out of a large area I think it was the size of a moon. It was the power source for the main device.

Then there was the main weapon which would apparently kill any one who can close that was no using the force to shield them self’s( This was thought to Anakin by a ex-sith ghost who help the Jedi in the sith war and if I remember correctly could lead some on to wards the dark side). It also has a number of normal weapons.

In the game the separatist dug up the weapon and tried to use it so it would exist in your period (I was never very good on timelines sorry if KOTOR happened before the sith war).

But it is not a Old Republic weapon per say any one could find it and deploy it.

Techinacally, the Great Sith War is split into three parts (the last of which is the War of the Star Forge, KOTOR 1) However, KOTOR does take place after the period you mentioned (unless this is refering to the Last Sith war, which took place 3,000 years after KOTOR.)

Exar Kun's flagship. It was incredibly powerful and was buried beneath the Massassi temples on Yavin 4.

how about just have a whole fuckload of ISD's arrange themselves in a cross shaped bar half a light year across, and use their tractor beams to accelerate a large meteor or something to .99 SoL

i.e. + one ISD at the end of each arm of the cross, object is accelerated at the centerpoint of the cross

and from the side it would just look like ====================

(feasible? I dunno. Sound cool? it does to me.)

You mean one ungodly railgun compased of a small fleet of warships? Mm. I think I already suggested chucking a moon at a planet with a fleet, but this sounds fun...

Why not have a purpose built ship for that? It seems like using a bunch of ISDs for that would be wastful.

Because when you aren't using it to throw extinction-level pieces of rock into planets, you can split the multiple ships up into taskforces to engage enemy fleets at more than one location.

Why do you even need a superweapon? Why not have the villian be a match for the heroes through his wits and ability rather than a wanktastic weapon of doom?

Suddenly, I agree. There are two kinds of impressive. Superficial, and Ability level Impressiveness. Superficial is like the Death star, It's impressive because it's so big and has so much power (like the punisher). Then, theres ability superficial, like Trawn. He's brilliant, and doesn't need a death star to be impressive. I think that The thrawn kind of thing would be more impressive.

Note: I only changed my mind, I'm not trying to "Go With The Flow."
