Could a non-force user be a Sith?

Post by weemadando »

I was thinking about it - being a Sith seems to be a lot of "state of mind" kinda shit, and sometimes the use of the force. The force is certainly an important part of it, but is being a force-user a prerequisite for being Sith?

Sith crave power. Potential with the Force leads to power. Surely I don't need to draw a diagram.

No, but someone could be just as crafty as Palpatine and lack the force, but would that just make them evil, or would they be able to be Sith?

Though, it would make it easier for Jedi to lay the hurt down.

All Sith are Dark side users.
All dark side users use the force.

How can you be a member of an ancient dark side order without using the force  .
If youre thinking of the Sith species, then they were just that- a species hose names were made sinomous with the Sith order once they worshipped the Fallen jedi who became the Sith order.

No they could not a Sith (like a Jedi). Sith is like a club force sensitive people can belong too. If you are a force adept then you can be a member of one of many groups like Jedi, Sith, dark Jedi, force which. Sith is one of those groups and is only available to people with force powers.

Palpatine's Weakness of Inferiors defines the Force insensate as inferiors. I therefore doubt they can be Sith.

In KOTOR, regular non-force using ground troops, officers, and techs are refered to as "Sith" but I believe that is analogous to calling Palpatine's minions "Imperials." Sith Empire/Galactic Empire. They are certainly not true sith.

One could not be a Sith Lord without force abilities. One could perhaps, be a member of an organised religion venerating the Dark Side and the Sith.

Being a Sith without the Force is like being a sniper without a rifle: you just aren't. You can talk the talk, but unless you walk the walk, you're nothin'.
This has been another blunder by you friendly local idiot.
