Post Your Winamp Playlist

Post by Spanky The Dolphin »

Time for you to prove who has the best selection of MP3s.

For those who don't know, here's the best way to do this:

First you might want to have a second browser window open, so you don't lose SD.Net.

Open Winamp, then select the "Misc." button at the bottom of the playlist menu. Then go to "Misc Options". There select "Generate HTML Playlist".

Then just highlight, copy, and paste.

I'll post mine later.

I lost most of my list when I changed a comp.
EDIT: I too have Winamp 3 and I can't seem to generate one either.

Hmm, then seeing as mine has 1077 songs, maybe this wasn't a good idea.

I don't think anyone's likely to read through any lists that might get posted.

Let's see. I have 286 songs on my playlist at the moment, massing some 1.3 gig. I have maybe a few gig more elsewhere, but I don't feel like counting up how many.

I actually don't have that many mp3's, since on dial-up it takes anywhere from 20-90 minutes to download a 3.5-minute song. Danny Elfman - Jack's Lament (The Nightmare Before Christmas)
Dashboard Confessional - lots of these guys :D
Denis Leary - I'm An Asshole
Eagles - Wasted Time

Eminem - Lose Yourself & The Way I Am
Fiona Apple - 6 songs
Frente! - Labour Of Love
G Love And Special Sauce - Milk And Cereal

Kind of. Even my puny 3.8 GB (1077 songs) is still a lot.

I don't know, should I even post mine? Or would that be too many?

My primary playlist at home is about 15 gigabytes of anime music (somewhere around 5200 tracks). Even a plaintext version would be...large, to say the least.
My secondary playlist is about 4 gigs of game music (somewhere around 1000 tracks).
My most reasonable playlist, the MP3 CD I use in my car, isn't on me, so I can't post that one, either. :)

Question: Are we supposed to be judging on the quality and content of the playlists or just how many tracks each of us has? It seems like most people are just bragging about the numbers they have. If that was the case from the beginning, you could have just asked how many mp3s we had in our respective collections, instead of asking to display them in list form, no?
