OK - So in RotS, Obi Wan says the line: "Only a Sith Lord deals in absolutes..."
In ESB, Yoda says to Luke: "Do, or do not. There is no try." A-hah! Yoda dealing in absolutes. Therefore, Yoda is a Sith Lord!
*looks around* Yeah, its pretty weak isn't it...
Yoda a Sith Lord? (warning - nitpickery ahead)

Quite. When Obi Wan said that he was talking about morals. In other words, there are no black and white situations only shades of grey.
Yoda, on the other hand, was refering to dedication. You don't "try" something and do it half assed because you're only trying; you *DO IT* and succeed. Or something like that.

As I recall, there was a lot of inconsistencies in ROTS regarding the dark side.
Example:
Palaptine talks about how the Sith have a more... flexible view of the Force.
Obi-Wan: "Only a Sith deals in absolutes!"
There was also something that had to do with giving in to your feelings, which is bad, whilst Obi-Wan also recommends Anakin to trust his feelings.

That line comes from an arcane technique known only to the Lords of the Sith called... "spinning."Battlehymn Republic wrote:Palaptine talks about how the Sith have a more... flexible view of the Force.

Trust your instincts. Control your emotions. There was also something that had to do with giving in to your feelings, which is bad, whilst Obi-Wan also recommends Anakin to trust his feelings.

Would explain his wrinkly hide.
Though his ass backwards speech was obviously a failed Sith experiment to confuse the enemy.

Some political watchdogs group would consider these techniques to be...unnatural.That line comes from an arcane technique known only to the Lords of the Sith called... "spinning."
