Enterprise-E vs a TIE advanced

Post by dacis2 »

Since there is hardly any way for ST to win any debate due to ICS, I have to ask in this case who wins.

Depends on Missle Load out, There are some that the TIE Advanced could carry that would smoke the E

However I don't think they are even set up to carry anything bigger then concusion missles so likley the E(Weak ass shielding as well means the E-E has to only get lucky once)

Depends which TIE Advanced. Several different craft are covered by that. Those with missiles would win, though they might be destroyed before they missiles strike and kill the E-E. Those without will knock down the shields somewhat but will very likely be defeated. TIE guns fire pretty fast, but you'd need a great many thousands of hits to drop the shields, though the E-E would take damage via exploding consuls.

Sea Skimmer? I've heard that name before...

From that Warships1.com message board...

and on topic...

DAMN! I thought I finally made a fair one.

Ok, Vader's TIE advanced with a normal imperial pilot.

Define normal imperial pilot, the learning curve for all TIE fighter pilots tends to be very steep, and if they survive 6 fights then they are pretty dangerous.

That would be me. I have a Ezboard global account for Sea Skimmer.

Vaders TIE X1 dies after doing some damage.

If we are limiting the TIE to a normal pilot, shouldn't we specify a generic crew for the E-E?

Do we really need this topic? It's not like it's been done to death on ASVS and Spacebattles...
