Allso interested, i hope that the Maquis (if they learn how to use it in their life time) use the ship for what it is supposed to be used. The feds would propably turn it to a goddamn science vessel

Considering the Teaser, I would say that either the Maquis figured out how to use the ship, or the Maquis woke up the crew that was in hibernation or Stasis or something similar.

Seeing as I've been told the basic plot and the basically everything about the story, your opinions on the crew is pretty interesting.

Interesting bit.

Event Horizon is the only movie I could say I was scared watching.

I liked it. It's not one of my favorite, but I thought it was very enjoyable.

The movie IMHO was utter shit, i thought at first that it would be a pretty decent sci-fi flick but it fell to the old bloodfest.

Bloodfest is so kliche, 75% of all horror movies seem to have huge bloodfest in them to try and make them look more scary, IMO EH was not scary, i just dont feel that some dude's chest busted wide open and the internal organs ripped away is scary.

Anyway IMHO a shitty movie.

Seems standard that a good fic has few chapters but wth a hell of a lot of replies.

Looks good, Mike! Let's see some more...

And sometimes I wonder if a scruffy Maquis bounty-hunter type who goes only by the handle "Coyote" would ever appear. 8)

And it is perfectly logical for an ISD to be the standard ship for appearance: they are numerous, spread throughout the galaxy, and are constantly dispatched on missions since they can pretty much handle anything by themselves. A Victory is a nice fleet escort, but doesn't carry the "oomph" for a solo, long-range exploratory into unknown space. (Katana fleet notwithstanding; it was an entire fleet of dreadnoughts...).
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."

In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!

Keep on writing King Mike this is turning good.

I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in his stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Counciler or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who constantly says: "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I cannot agree with your methods of direct action"; who paternalistically believes he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by a mythical concept of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait for a "more convenient season."

Great so far, Mike.
Well, my rub is that they seemed to have gotten it started up far too easily. They didn't even hack / slice it. The man just sat in the chair and the systems all started up.

Hopefully, the rest of the startup would be slightly more challenging :D
