I have not really the idea, but 300 ft is a range that usually gets you of reach of most spells and attacks in D&D. May be expections anyways

Touch range spells are touch range.

Short range spells are 25ft + 5ft/2 levels

Medium Range spells are 100ft + 10ft/level

Long Range spells are 400ft + 40ft/level

Unlimited range spells can hit anything on the same plane

Which is pretty much what I remembered...But then
I have not any D20 system rules for Star Wars, the range for Jedi powers may be different.
If they hit like psionics the majority of powers are low-medium range and the psionist must be seeing the target. ( i guess i am correct. I like not psionics in d&d anyways)...
but that is pretty much all...

I doubt that Yoda will survive very long.
If the mage prepares for a bit, he can shroud himself in a shitload of defensive spells which make him nearly invulnerable, and can fry, maim, dismember or just outright kill Yoda six ways from sunday...

The <j/k> part referred to "just kidding". It was total bullshit. D20 may have taken some flak during a recent debate or two, but my absolutism was merely meant to be humorous.

In short, it was a joke.
