On-Line College Courses

Post by jegs2 »

Trying to get my wife an associate degree on-line and constantly running into roadblocks. She has never taken a college course before, and it's been over 20 years since she graduated HS. Know that some of you have done this sort of thing or know someone who has, so perhaps you could supply me with some useful information.

A friend of mine took TV courses which would probably be the same thing.
I dont recomend it. You cant get the same "feel" or feedback in a remote course.

Do you live near a Junior College? They are great deals, at least here in CA, and taking a general ed class like English or Math would be a good start.

Actually if she never went to college I believe she would need to take placement tests.

I imagine it would be immensely difficult to study college courses over the internet. I don't know how I could have gotten through college like that. If you live near a junior college, that might be a better bet. It will cost a lot more, but it might be worth it.
