I said that the novelization supported my argument in that it proved he did posess a second lightsaber. I did not say that the novelization proved he had it during the fight with WIndu.I said it proved that he could have had it. Which I believe he did.

I always meant that the novelization supported the fact that Palpatine did in fact have a holdout lightsaber. I believe he would have had it during his fight with Windu. But i didn't claim that the novelization supported that belief. Just that it made the belief possible by confirming the existence of a second lightsaber.
And I do hope that some people will see it my way. At least one other person did.

Goddammit, I asked for a quote proving that he had the second sabre on him "at all times".
