Just back from holiday in............................France!

[Deimos Anomaly]

12 days on France's tropical south coast, in the Nice/Cannes area, with a little venture over into Italy as far as Pisa.

Noted points:

• Beautiful weather
• Beautiful Mediterranian sea which really is blue, and has warm water
• Refusal to speak English even when you can tell they understand it
• Stupid and obnoxious French drivers, blasting their horns and glaring at you if you hesitate for a millionth of a second, sometimes shaking their fists. Not honouring zebra crossings either.
• They drive on the wrong side of the road:D
• Stupid stop-and-pay-every-five-minutes motorways

Going to Italy:

• Lots of long tunnels in the alps with 3 lane motorways going through them, and huge bridges about as long, which span whole valleys with the roadway hundreds of feet above the ground
• SB is going to my head - entering one tunnel signed as 1600 meters long I found myself thinking "this one's the lenght of a Star Destroyer"
• The residents of Pisa or the authorities responsible for road signs appear to want nobody to find the tower
• Holy shit but does it lean over. When you see it in a picture or on tv it doesn't do it justice. You need to be there and see it to really appreciate the lean and how precarious the thing looks.

A. Purcase Isrealaly defense option as its called side Mounted Flame-Throwers to prevent Car-Jackings
Sure as hell scares em off

B. Trunk and/or Hood Mounted Chain-guns in hidden ressecnes,
Scares em off

C.American Made ALERT Fog Horn, At the right setting it breaks glass for a quarter mile

Car Wars? Is that a computer game? I seem to remember long ago when it was a board game (at least the version that I recall). I had a poster once that said "Car Wars! Drive Offensively!"
