Was thinking of this today at work,

If in ROTS the doors hissed open and instead of 4 jedi walking in to confront palpatine, it was a T-850 with an automatic shotgun in one hand and a M60 in the other what would have happened. Palpatine was targeted for termination. Would Palpatine have a chance?

Palpatine isnt likely to waste energy with lightning at all. Just push T out of the chamber with a flick of a wrist, force-lock the door and wait for the Clones and Imperial Guards to arrive.

The T-850 doesn't get anywhere near the Chancellor's office in the first place, you blithering idiot. Yoda can mind-alter, speed-move, stealth-move, sabre-block, and TK his way past clonetroopers and Imperial guardsmen, but the T-850 would be blown to glowing chunks before he got anywhere near the building, never mind Palpatine's office. Yoda can deflect blaster bolts back at his attackers; what the fuck is a T-850 going to do when a clonetrooper gives him a facefull of full-auto glowing red death?

Security forces before he gets to Palpatine? What? He's asking who would win in a vs fight between Sidious and T850, it doesn't matter how he got there!!!

That said, T850 doesn't stand a chance. Force push as soon as he fires the shotty = no lead going Palpatine's way.

For those who don't understand precisely why he was banned (apart from being an idiot), let me remind you of this line from the "disciplinary actions" portion of the official board rules: "we might ban you if you react to some lesser disciplinary action (such as a warning, a title, or a privilege removal) with hostility, accusations of unfairness, etc." If people react to a warning by attacking the rules or the administration, regardless of whether they use swearing or sarcasm, they get shown the door. In general, people who complain about the rules are shown the door; this is also spelled out in the official rules. Read them.

Considering that a t-850 is roughly slightly above a SBD in close combat, You would need low triple digit quantities T850's to kill palpatine, especially in the senate chamber, and as Wong said thousands, or ten's of thousands in a wave attack to reach the senate building.

Even a dozen T-X's wouldnt stand a chance saber wise or lightning wise.

And while that guy was ignoring forum rules I have to say that was a slightly speedy banning.
