Some sneaky bugger snuck a cameraphone into a behind-closed-doors Sega conference.
It was here

But taken down on request of Sega. Luckily, I had the foresight to save it to my hard drive
I just stuck it on my web server. This is running off my home PC and I have a sucky upload speed (thanks, comcast...), so it will probably take ages to download being 46 megs. If anyone is willing to host it on a faster server I'd be much obliged.

Enjoy!
Other than the Chrome Hounds trailer, it's ALL real time. Virtua Fighter 5, Sonic, Afterburner, House of the Dead, and Chrome Hounds are the games shown.[/url]
Anyone up for a leaked top secret Sega conference?

Nice.
I've seen the Sonic part before, having a mind to watch the antics of the Blue one, but the rest I wanted to see.
It should be noted that whilst it's mostly realtime, most of these do not represent an actual game, they're tech demos, and IIRC they're all Xbox 360.
Afterburner, however, is an actual game, and reportedly quite complete.

XBox 360 would make sense; the PS3's RSX graphics card isn't even done yet. The E3 demos were running on the PS3 hardware...and a Geforce 7800 instead of the RSX.
However I remember that the XBox 360 dev kits are only running at around 1/3rd the final power of the system, so I wouldn't be surprised if the games actually looked that good. Though the tech demos never account for AI and many other factors, of course.

I've got a small wmv clip from the beginning of the video that was posted by someone to prove that it existed, but I've yet to find the actual full video sadly.Praxis wrote:If you've got the link for that, post it or PM me

Nope. Reggie wasn't introducing the Metroid vid at the press conference, Iwata was. The videos for the public press conference should still be downloadable, so you can check for yourself if you don't believe me.Praxis wrote:That's not a behind-closed-doors conference...I've heard those exact words quoted on IGN plenty of times. I think thats the actual E3 press conference, not a secret one.
Here's the presentation of Zelda at the behind-closed-doors retail conference.
