More efficient to blast 'em in the head with the more accurate mode. Admittedly, less fun, though.Darth Yoshi wrote:The good old E-11 for me. *relives going through JK2 with E-11 on full auto*
As cool as the I.M. Heavy Repeater and Flechette gun were, I wish they had a BlasTech T-21, DLT-20A or DH-17 as well as the E-11 and Bryar sawn-off. I mean, seriously, it's a Star Wars game.. two blasters doesn't cut it!
Again, I urge folks to check out

It's got great close-ups of all the weapons.

Gah, I suppose I better list my reasons for my choices,
DC-15: I like large rifles and any rifle that can kill SBDs and Droidekas in one shot is going to be high on my list of favorites
DL-19: This one screams that it is the DC-15 of the Empire, that and it looks cool.
Droid Carbine: I've always liked this gun. I think it looks cool and its firepower isn't half bad either.

Blast Tech Indutries made the DC-17m, so I it's probable that all of the DC-series are Blast Tech products.Old Plympto wrote:Does it say anywhere what company made the clonetroopers' blaster weapons?

IIRC, that was also a modded DL-44 like Solo's.

DL-44 for me. I just like the look, plus Han Solo just flat out rocks. Close second would be Leia's blaster from ANH. I liked that one for some reason.

E-11. The folding stock, scope, and various firing settings make it a very versatile weapon. Need to pick off some soldiers at a long range? Unfold the stock, use the scope, and you have a sniper rifle. Need a weapon used for medium ranges? Unfold the stock, switch it to full auto, and you have an assault rifle. Need a close quarters weapon for clearing out rooms? Fold up the stock, put it on full-auto, and you have a SMG. Need to take someone down alive? Switch it to stun. Pretty damned useful for just one weapon.

Trouble I have with E-11, is personal SoD failure. Every time I look at it, I think Sterling SMG. And I've never considered a Sterling (or for that matter most SMGs) a serious weapon for infantry. Although I vaguely recall the first stormtrooper squads in RL under Ludendoff(?) were armed with SMGs.IRG CommandoJoe wrote:E-11. Well, I guess today it's not as important as it was in WWII due to the assault rifle. But in WWII, the SMG was a great weapon for infantry.Danny Bhoy wrote:Trouble I have with E-11, is personal SoD failure. Every time I look at it, I think Sterling SMG. The one you're thinking of is the DLT-19.I liked the MG42/MG3 whatchamacallit tho.

Eh, people are still going, "err what blaster was that, eh, the one that's like such-and-such real gun." FFS, check out this page already.

It was the DL-44 like Han's. I think Both of them got newer versions in ESB, as both had smaller Scopes and the Powerpacks looked a bit different.Danny Bhoy wrote:
