Looking awesome :D .
it should give everything but TA2 a run for it's money, note the part about a physics engine so when you attack a flying building the walls (and the building) come tumbling down  :D

Its not the only game to have that, something of Hero's by Relic, a WW2 tactics game, has that, also AoE3.

Second, if thats the peaks of its graphics, GC2 will give it a run for its money, nevermind HW2. The only thing remarkable I've seen are the trees, which frankly, are only there to BURN.

Looks cool, but not "give everything a run for its money" game.

How much competition does it even have this year apart from TA2 anyway  , it still looks like a nice old-school sci-fi rts with plenty od non space action just like CnC ordered it. (Yes, I know that it’s not a Command and Conquer game  )

How much competition?

Age of Empire 3

Aside from CnC, there is NO bigger RTS brand name then AoE.

TA may be godlike, but its reletively unknown. AoE IS RTS for most people.

Ever heard of Korea?
also how many people really know AOE more than both Warcraft and starcraft in a modern country? (judging by relative sales i’d guess that Starcraft has a slightly larger audience, but this is drifting off-topic here)

Yes, I've heard of Korea.
I've also noticed its not exactly big in terms of population compared to the rest of the world.
Also, since I don't have the game sales sources I wish I had(anyone know of a site for this?) I'll move on.

This game looks great. I'd order it online but I don't wanna pay overseas shipping for a quick delivery and I'm out of this (rainy, humid hellhole that is Korea) place in little over a month so... yeah. I'll get it in August on leave. :)

And frankly, I don't see what's so great about TA2. Of course this comes from a staunch supporter of Starcraft who will NEVER forget the Gamespy best RTS of all time BULLSHIT that was the orginal TA. That and I'm no fan of fucking mecha walkers of teh doomzores! I'm biased, and indifferent so I can't be swayed.

edit: Woops, didn't notice the end of August release date. That's perfect. :D
