Moussaoui ruled fit to stand trial
A judge has ruled that Zacarias Moussaoui, the would-be 9/11 pilot who didn't make it to the final operation (he'd been arrested on an immigration charge and was in jail on 9/11) is sane and competant to stand trial.
This guy is crayzier than a rabid trekkie. He changes his plea from not guilty to guilty and back to not guilty. PICK ONE DAMMIT!!!!!!
BUT NO MATTER WHAT HE PICKS HE WILL STILL BE EXECUTED!!!!!!!!

The Judge refused the plea because Moussaoui did not understand exactly what it was he was pleading guilty to. Once he had been informed of the nature of the charges, he no longer pleaded guilty.Asst. Asst. Lt. Cmdr. Smi wrote:When he pleaded guilty, the judge refused the plea! We really need to improve the justice system. I believe we egt all the information out of him, and put him in the electric chair.
Actually I'm starting to think that maybe... now, I don't want to sound like a conspiracy wacko here but.. it sounds to me as if he might just possibly be the victim of a frame up...
He seems to be actively attempting to avoid the possibility of the death penalty. Given that if he was doing what he's accused of doing, he was prepared to die anyway and fully expected to have been dead months ago.. one would think the prospect of death would not bother him.
So if it does bother him, maybe he's not actually guilty of being part of the 9/11 pilot group afterall...?
Now, I'm not saying he isn't our enemy or that he's guilty of nothing - he's admitted to being Al Qaeda and "praying every day for the destruction of America". But it may be that in their desperation to be seen to "bring someone to justice" for 9/11 the gov't may have grabbed an average american-hating Islamic and trumped him up into a monster, one of the 9/11 unit.

Although I personally think that USA is free to do with him whatever it wants, I doubt that he will be executed because of international politics. Also is he even an American citizen? I'm not an expert of your system, but I don't think its legal to execute foreign citizens even if it is a special matter like this.

IMHO, the reason he doesn't want the death penalty is because he'll be executed by the infidel, rather than dying while doing God's work. I don't see the problem, either way, he's dead, but I'm atheist.Manji wrote:Actually I'm starting to think that maybe... now, I don't want to sound like a conspiracy wacko here but.. it sounds to me as if he might just possibly be the victim of a frame up...
