MIB Earth:
An important conference is occurring on Earth at a undisclosed location in New York City with ambassadors from several major powers both Earth and alien. The MIB have been requested to provide security for the occurrence with help from Spiderman (movie version). Agent K and J have been put in charge of the operation. The MIB have indications that someone wants the conference to be a disaster and intends to send assassins to ensure this. Meanwhile an unarmed transport has arrived at Earth carrying Jango Fett and fifty Clonetroopers. Their mission is to disrupt the conference.

Jango and Gang will win. Spider-man is a joke. If he starts swinging in the clones will take him out. The sidearms of the MIB are no match for the pure firepower of the clones. J and K are like cops, the clones are trained soldiers with a really really good bounty hunter with them.

MiB firepower is massive. 2 shots from the heavy guns take down a ship.

A single shot from a "noisy cricket" blows a 1.5m (approx) hole THROUGH a container...

Firepower is definately equal if not better than the Clones.

Firepower is definately equal if not better than the Clones.

The heavy guns are anti-aircraft(well spacecraft) weapons. The Noisy Cricket is entirely unstable. One shot and it takes Jay a shit load of time to aim again. It is no match. You need firepower as well accuracy for a good weapon. Ok pure firepower was wrong to say. Sorry.

In the DVD manual, the weapons section, taken from The Official MIB Agent's Manual, that's a book by the way, says that the Pulsar Blaster(one of the heavy weapons) is used to take out low flying spacecract.

It also says that pulse weaponry is used for anti-spacecraft purposes which is what the Blaster is. The Arquillian Arm Cannon fires a similar shot and looks to be of the same type. This is my opinion. It was contradicted by the movie's site where it said the Cannon was a beam weapon. Though from the movie itself that doesn't appear to be the case.

Oh, and in the movie when Kay tells Jay how the gun works, he tell him that they will both use the same pulsar levels.

Very unlikely that would work through the trooper's helmets. There's a holographic system in the loop and it would likely filter out any flash.

Hmmm... true. But if the optical flash contained the reprogramming pulse then the troopers would be neuralyzed. Helmets reproduce optical data = helmets reproduce pulse = clonetroopers stunned.

But going by all tenets of common sense it shouldn't work.

Then the clonetroopers win, heavy guns and cheap tactics vs. trash talk and big fun guns, I'm with the former. Even though I like trash talk.

Any sane design would incorporate a black out feature to protect the users eyes. And given that in star wars multi kiloton and megaton weapons often get used in ground combat it would be a necessity.

Damn straight. Neuralyzers won't work, then. I still say clonetroopers win, MIBs don't have near Jedi abilities.

Are we forgetting that Jango can fly? If he wants to disrupt a conference, a full-on assault with a bunch of clonetroopers is not his style, although he might keep them around for backup or sniper support. He would probably just fly over the complex, drop the biggest thermal det he can lay his hands on, and turn the place into a smoking crater. Spiderman, Agent J, and Agent K can jump around all they like, they'll end up ashes like everyone else.

You can't dodge an explosion. You are either in its radius or you aren't.

Besides, Jango Fett's mission is not to kill Spiderman. His mission is to disrupt the conference. This mission would be quite handily accomplished by flying overhead and dropping a thermal det. Even if the explosion isn't powerful enough to level the entire building, he can have clonetroopers positioned in nearby buildings to take down people exiting the building with sniper fire. And by the time this phase of the operation begins, it is impossible to fail because the primary objective of disrupting the conference has already been achieved.
