Empire vs. Fsherl Ghanni

The Fsherl Ganni, evil bad-boys of the Schlock Mercenary Universe decide to take on the Galactic Empire as a new source of wealth and power. 6,000 Butthandi equipped with Gates and containing Teraport Technology for their ships teleport directly into Imperial Space (assume this is some variant of the Teraport system that allows them to go there) and begin preparations for War.

The Empire has no Rebellion to worry about, has 1 death star and 1 sun crusher but no other superweapons. It's normal assortment of ships and planets is available. They discover 1 Butthandi by accident, find out about the invasion from it and begin preparations for war. They do not have the exact locations of any other Butthandi.
