Come ON, people. Surely we can do better than "Spacebattles."
Okay, I'll stop asking for advice on how to write a "Jango Fett in the Federation" story and simply write the damn thing-- in a year or twenty. (I write very slowly. The creative juices trickle out instead of pouring.)
I sense a thread being moved soon here...Anyway, if Jango were to do something as extraordinary as taking over as Emperor, he would have many real life obstacles once his reputation became known. Sure, he would hammer the AQ into dog shit, but he is only one man. And he's going to have to get out of that ship sooner or later.

He does have that badass Mandalorian suit, so it's pretty safe to say that he's physically well protected. His twin blaster firepower would shred anything the Redshirts can throw at him. That's not even mentioning whatever gadgets are inside that suit, or if a transporter can get a lock on him.

Cool idea, but too many unknowns. I find myself agreeing with others; I don't see Jango Fett as a man who is hungry for power. He's a professional killer, not a megalomaniac.

It doesn't matter if his ship and armor are both invincible. He's one guy and he has to sleep sometimes.
If Religion and Politics were characters on a soap opera, Religion would be the one that goes insane with jealousy over Politics' intimate relationship with Reality, and secretly murder Politics in the night, skin the corpse, and run around its apartment wearing the skin like a cape shouting "My votes now! All votes for me! Wheeee!" -- Lagmonster

Going by the OP, Slave 1 would be a pretty potent local space defense ship, but pretty damned useless for anything else without a functioning hyperdrive.

In other words, Jango had better hope he's noticed by a passing starship pretty quick or he'll be doing a passable sublight Voyager imitation just to reach the nearest habitable planet.
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier
