The creatures of Star Wars/Trek
To my knowledge, the biggest baddest non-sentient life form in Star Wars is the rancor. If I am wrong, please hit me upside the head and call me stupid. The sarlaac doesn't count as it just kinda sits around and waits to be fed.
What creature(s) in Star Trek would you put in a cage match against a rancor (or a bigger/meaner creature, if you know of one I don't)? How would the wildlife fare in a Wars vs. Trek scenario?

The Krayt Dragon is the king of SW Wildlife to my knowledge. Though to be fair that is arguable. So I'll call you stupid, but I won't hit you this time.
In Star Trek I don't know of anything off hand that could take a Rancor (or a Krayt) but my knowledge of Trek zoology is limited.

Now it's my turn to be called stupid.Nieztchean Uber-Amoeba wrote:Two words, dude: Space. Slug. A small one nearly ate the Falcon. Big ones bite off parts of ISDs.

You'd need a bloody big cage, then.Nieztchean Uber-Amoeba wrote:Two words, dude: Space. Slug. A small one nearly ate the Falcon. Big ones bite off parts of ISDs.
The only thing I can see going up against that is Gomtuu - FTL capable, can pulverise a D'Deridex with his starfart, can throw a Galaxy 4 million kilometres. The only problem is that, while Gomtuu is an technically an animal, you might also classify him as a bioship.
Then there's Junior's species, a half-kilometre long spacewhale that kills with radiation, but they're nor very resilient to damage.

Sorry, I didn't consider that they would come up with space-based life forms. Although ST has quite a few of them, I figured the term "cage match" would kinda keep them limited to, you know, creatures that could be placed in a cage.Bounty wrote:Sorry, I was writing that when Helmet changed the rules.

what about the mighty sarlac probably be a boring fight after the first hundred years waiting to be digested and all. I rember on a episode of TOS their where huge caveman like monsters capable of holding a shuttle down. they had crude giant clubs and spears. Kirk was not in that one a lot spock had most of the action.
