I actually believe his claims about his ancestry.

AND YOU TALK ABOUT ADVANCED PHISICS LAST TIME I CHECKED ENGINEERING DIDENT NEED THOSE TO BUILD A SKYSCAPER and my tutore for math WAS A PHISICKS PHD!!!!!!!!!
Of course not. The engineers who build our skyscapers have no knowledge of phisicks whatsoever. They just toss a few tons of metal and such together, and voila, instant skyscaper. And it'll stay there forever. No need to, you know, put any work into calaculating ways to optimize said skyscaper's structural integrity, so that it doesn't fall over the second there's a slight breeze or simply collapse into itself before it's even finished being built. Nope, no phisicks needed.

A degree that can read minds? Is it one of those "slightly psychic papers" from Dr. Who?

An interesting little tidbit: statistically speaking everyone of European descent can probably number Charlemagne among their ancestors.

Parents like that are just irresponsible. Don't they realize that insulating their children from reality like that only sets them up for lots of pain down the road?
In a way I feel genuinely sorry for this guy. When he grows up the real world will fall on him like a ton of bricks. Can you imagine what it'll be like for the poor nitwit as he gets systematically rejected at every college he applies to, can't get a job better than greaseboy at Dunkin Donuts, has no friends, can't get dates, and it gradually dawns on him that he's a useless momma's boy with no lifeskills?

Is getting dates really an important lifeskill? Certainly education and occupation are vital, and even making friends could be considered important in that even if you aren't going to be buddy-buddy with everyone, it's important to at least know how to interact positively with others... but dating? It's certainly a plus, but I don't really see how it's essential to a successful life.

Getting a date tends to be the first step towards finding a lifelong companion, or at least getting a sexual encounter.

Without that, you run the risk of a fairly lonely life.

Dating is just part of the larger net of social skills. Those are vital to life, really. There's more to it than making money, folks.

I find his state of unintelligence and excessive whining to be amusing, in an odd sort of way. Kinda makes me wish he was still around to poke and prod and watch him sputter.

I like his outbursts of speech-markers and exclamations in the middle of sentences, in particular. Makes you wonder if he types out a sentence, looks over it, decides to throw in "like geez sreosly" or "really GOD DAWM", and then finally looks over it again before concluding that yes, now it looks the way he wants it to read.

That'd be too close to proof-reading, but really you have to wonder...

This is the worst one, yet. Can it be a mere coincidence that so many of the people that attack Mike and his website cannot spell, read, or construct arguments that make even a tiny amount of sense?

Are they jealous of him? I mean, let's examine Mike for a moment, he's smart, has an excellent grasp of physics and grammar, has outspoken views, a quality education, brilliant debating skills, a talent for putting together excellent arguments (and shooting down another person's argument) and happens to be exceedingly handsome. Perhaps they find these qualities to be superior to the ones they all possess, so they make it their life-long goal to emulate him and finally beat him.

Well, you have to take into account that guys like this Ethan Westbridge are remembered for the same reason circus freaks are remembered. You just don't forget a spectacular human train-wreck like this.
