Got it working now, it seems I just misspelled it a bit and man it's nice (BTW does it work in SP)
Nope. Single player has a completely different scheme for getting dismemberment to work (and it's different from Jedi Outcast's too, meaning many sites list the wrong method to get it to work). I suggest you check out the following thread which goes into exhaustive detail on it (and the problems with it) on my forum:

OK how enable dismemberment on your own server (I use the "Create game" option to test new models).

EDIT:no need I figured it out myself.
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

To enable it on your server:

\g_dismember 100 (100% dismemberment allowed)

To enable it on a client:

\cg_dismember 3 (to allow all types of dismemberment)

These will only work for multiplayer. Single Player uses a different method.

what's that method (I couldn't make heads or tails of the link you posted)?

It's simple. Remove the plus sign, paste that into your browser. Register there are LucasForums.com (free) and you can view it and even post and ask people questions. It's all spelled out there. Lots of people are posting because the same method doesn't work for everyone (for example Windows XP has its own method) but there are many alternate methods. I'm not going to copy and paste the entire multi-page thread for you here, sorry. So much has been written about it you'd just have to read it. Please go check it out.

- Darth Sideous (in his various outfits, with and without hood)
- Chanceller Palpatine (in his various outfits)
- General Grevious (the best one)
- Obi-Wan Kenobi (a few variants, not excellent quality)
- Anakin Skywalker (lots of variants in all possible outfits)
- Darth Vader (the best ones I could find plus some variants)
- Padme (in her various outfits)
- Aayla Secura (yes, so shut up AS fanb0iz!)
- Jawa (to differentiate in team games)
- Scout Trooper (a few variants, all Ep3 style)
- Republic Stormtroopers (a few variants, of varying quality)
- Count Dooku (the best one)

(many of these I had to scrounge from JK2):

-Plo Koon
-Kit Fisto
-C-3PO
-Shaak Ti
-Ki Adi Mundi
-Saesee Tin
-Quinlan Voss (even though he's only mentioned but never shown)
-Royal Guard
-Super Battledroid
-Battle Droid
-Luminara (think she was supposed to be there, but not shown)
-Bultar Swan (see above)
-Bariss Offee (see above)
-Yoda
-Mon Mothma (barely looks different than the old one,
just fewer wrinkles and slightly modified clothes)
another Darth Vader variant (from JK2) for better team skins

I grabbed a Darth Maul (but the team skins suck) and a nice
Jango Fett too.

Working on locating some decent Ep3 "ARC" Troopers like Cody, etc. which I know exist.

Some characters that don't seem to have skins of them yet that
would be neat: Bail Organa, Captain Typho, Representative Binks,
Rune Haako, Nut Gunray & any other Seperatists (besides Dooku),
Senate Guards, Clone Pilots, Tarfful, and young Tarkin. Couldn't
find an Agen Kolar, but could always throw in an Eeth Koth instead. ;)
Added:

- Cin Drallig (the swordsmaster who gets a brief cameo in the security video I think)
- Serra Keto (not sure where she's at but she's in the ROTS video game)

Yes, Eeth Koth is there, also Adi Gallia (since I can't find that one chick who looks very much like her who gets blown off her speeder by Troopers).

Extras Pack:

- Force Push sound replacement (Darth Maul's push from TPM)

- Force sounds replacements (optional, may conflict with above,
so choose. affects Speed, Push, Pull)

- Darth Maul's hilts (regular staff and broken staff).
For fun since Maul isn't included.

- Star Wars Saga Ultimate Hilt pack (may conflict or overwrite
above, includes hilts from all the movies)

- ROTS Hilt Pack. An alternate hilt pack done by somebody
else, featuring only hilts from Episode III.
Choose your favorite.

- Episode III Taunts. In case you want to "fix" some of the
skins, though unless the directories match up properly, this
will only work with certain ones. Up to you what you want to
do with it, but it's there.

- Episode III Sabers. Blade and sound replacements advertised
as making them look more like those in ROTS.

- EP3 Blades. Another attempt at the above by somebody else.
Without sounds. Obviously may conflict, so choose the one you
like.

- Digital Storm Studios Saber Replacement Sounds. Another
optional saber sound replacement. Could go well with an
EP3 Blades combo.
Added:

- Movie Saber Clash Mod
There's some crappy sound effect in one of those extras mods for the saber hit sound. I'm trying to isolate it if I can to get the "best" sounding one, but I hesitate to do too much alteration. I'll just tell you the ones I recommend for the full "effect" when I have time.

There's also some gun model replacements that are kind of haphazard, like the Clone Rifle, Battle Droid Rifle, DL-44 replacement (not ROTS related but included in the BDR mini-mod) and the Electrostaff mod (visually interesting but might be unbalanacing since you can have two "staff" length weapons at once).
Maps Pack:

- Mustaphar. As mapped "From Rumors." This one was done
before the film actually came out. There's a bigger, more
"accurate" version available, but either will do, or I may just
throw in both. Neither version is really very well setup for FFA.
Basically it's more like a really fancy duel/powerduel map or
a sabers only full force deathmatch.

- Palpatine's Office. See above problems.

- Invisible Hand. See above problems.
Still sorting through the stuff but I think I have all the maps now (SJC ROTS Mappack part 2 for example). Found a "CTF Mustafar" that might be interesting (it's the underground complex part we don't see).

On the Trek mod front, I found a "Voyager Shuttlebay" map, but it's for Jedi Outcast. Might be useable I dunno, have to try it out...

I've been pretty busy and unable to test much stuff, but that's what I've got so far....

Tiny update.. found a better Shaak Ti.

Tested out the SJC EpIII Mappack and it looks good (though my comments about the framerate and dueling nature still stand).

Sorry I haven't had time to implement this yet, but I've had a lot of other things to do lately! Good news though, I got Asteroids Mod working on the server (though few people seem interested in joining when its running). It's a small shame you can't use custom skins on Siege Destroyer...

This isn't TN, but I am sorry to say I'm going to have to put off the "release of the finished SD.net mod pack" indefinately as I'm moving to a new city (and state!) and getting a new ISP.

Of course I'll be super busy with a lot less time (if any) for games, but perhaps some weekend I can finish this up. The list of mods is pretty much finalized, it's just a matter of organizing it and I was going to get Praxis to host the files I've chosen. The Trek files on the other hand really haven't been sorted out yet. The few files we have pretty much suck, so we should locate some better (non bugged) replacements if possible.

Please get back to me with any more info, but like I said, as of today I really can't be bothered with this for awhile, sorry!

At least you guys can use skins and join the server
67.15.13.128:29070
, you just can't be sure anyone else will see them being used unless they're fans of this thread. ;)
