Stargate (season 9+ spoilers)

When last we saw Senator Scumbag ... er, Kinsey, that is ... he was transporting off an al'kesh (presumably to Earth) with a snake in his head.

Surely SG-1 will get back around to him after they're done chasing The Grail, but what, if you were that goa'uld, would you be up to? Would you still be in Kinsey's head? You'd think after the goa'uld had learned everything it could from a U.S. Senator, it would dump the body (too high-profile) for a young, strong, and anonymous human host.

The Goa'uld infiltration of Earth is going to be a central issue outside of the Ori this season. It will also involve the Jaffa Nation because the Jaffa are going to send commando teams to Earth in secret to capture these Goa'uld.

They did for a while, then the other Trust members (conveniently, all Goa'uld) beamed him out with an Asgard beam onto an Al'kesh. The Prommie tried to take it out, but the Al'kesh escaped. I think, anyway.

The Trust, remnants of the NID, were taken over by Goa'ulds when some of their operatives went off world in Osiris's ship and became infected.

The SGC, not knowing this, sent Kinsey to infiltrate the Trust. The Kinsey Goa'uld then let himself become captured by the Russians in the hopes of making the RUssians think the US gov't was compromised, with the intent of starting a nuclear war. Oh, and a general in the Russian army was taken over by a Goa'uld.

The Kinsey Goa'uld escaped to parts unknown in a ship.

And there's no reason to think that there aren't more unaccounted-for Trust members with symbiotes running around Earth, either ... Kinsey's next stop?

IIRC, Kinsey backstabs the Trust members who beamed him out of the Russian prison, and then escapes. Although I may be confusing events with the other episode involving the Trust and an Al'kesh (the one where there's a Stargate in an Al'kesh and the Trust is sending bio-weapons through to wipe out Goa'uld planets one by one).

The Alkesh was destroyed but Kinsey used the Asgard transporter to escape shortly before that.

The Russians were about to shoot Kinsey and Jackson on orders from the possesed general(part of the plan since Kinsey could regenerate) when the Prometheus beamed them up(this obviously puts a dent in the Goual plan). The Alkesh then attacked the Prometheus with Kinsey aboard.

He's a little pissed abut this because there is a difference between a bullet to the chest and being incinerated, even for a Goauld.

He beams himself aboard the Alkesh and takes out the other Trust members. I forget what happens after that.

Anyone else find it ironic that the Trust claimed they formed because they felt they could provide better security for Earth, yet now present the Goauld's best shot for infiltrating the governments?
