Don't things like this only re-establish this forum's influence? After all, how many other forums are talked about all across their genre's community?

The Wiki entry is more then a link. Its an encyclopedia entry on SD.net.

Why aren’t there rules about how often some thing can be put up for deletion?
In response to the last few posts its not that we care if we are on Wiki it more that we feel that we have a right to be there.

Nope, some idiot who's already been bitched at for making VFDs too liberaly.

I think the impression was that some of the people voting on the article the last time thought there was too much interference on the part of people with a vested interest in keeping the article around, so they were going to let things quiet down and then try again.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Please don't tell me that it's Revprez again...

It smacks to me off childish behaviour. Since the Trekkies can't defeat Darth Wong and his rabid Warsie Wongamaniacs; they turn on the Wicki entry, hoping to achieve a small victory.

I see Rev Prez is still up to his bullshit, or more accurately his lies.Vanity and website advertising. Delete. Current version already merged with Star Trek versus Star Wars, previous version was advertising, suffered from serious POV issues and ultimately was an advertisement for a website. Maybe the best way for us to fight back here is to improve our article? More on the history of SD.net and the characters here would certainly make it a more worthwhile article as opposed to the current very basic one.

There was a version with the history of SD.net, except that spawned an enormous flamewar with rabid accusations of "vanity" and "advertising" and reverts of reverts, and everyone's favorite ass RevPrez doing what he does best. What survived the first VfD was this very basic article.ALI_G wrote:Maybe the best way for us to fight back here is to improve our article? How much you want to bet that Revprez, over the course of the thing, will keep flip-flopping his vote depending on how people comment, just like last time?

To be fair to the ass, he has yet to actually sound off on the current VfD. Though I'm sure he'll turn up eventually.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:How much you want to bet that Revprez, over the course of the thing, will keep flip-flopping his vote depending on how people comment, just like last time?
