Firefox profiles

A few minutes ago, upon starting up firefox, I was asked to select a profile, but I couldn't select my own, and only the default, because my own was 'in use.'

Any idea how to change it back?

Happens to me sometimes too. I usually find that opening the processes list, and then closing any firefox.exe processes solves the problem.

Hmm, for me that stops it asking for a profile fullstop. Past that, I'm afraid I'm not sure.
