Ditto that... The idea that EVERY ship/Walker/FIghter in the Empier would all be 'Imperial Grey' is a bit silly, surely Palpatine isn't THAT heartless that he would forbid cool paint jobs

Although the fact that the filmmakers didn't seem to know what a ship making the jump to lightspeed looked like kinda pissed me off.
Yep got on my tits also, looked very much like Babylon 5 jumps to me!

Although the scene with the Predators (there is a small one there in the dark and not just the big one doing the the hand waving) Boba Fett, and the baby alien skull seemed to have been put in just to show of the cools costumes and props they have, although it is a nice homage to two of cinemas favourite Xeno's!

Question:

Are the smaller SD's seen with the carrier supposed to be VSD's? If so is the bridge sections do not look right at all!

All in all though I think that this Fan Flick is a really good effort and it will be interesting to see the remaining episodes.

I also noticed the E-wing fly by. If you want to see another familar ship in a different piece of Sci-Fi watch for the episode of Firefly were they have to rescue River from a medical facility in one of the hi-tech core worlds (using an air ambulance that looks very much like a VERY thinly disguised Mil-24 Hind Helo gunship) if you look closely you will see a Mobquet frieghter from the PC X-Wing series of games landing at the spaceport, if it is not an intetional wink towards Star Wars and just coincidence the design is near identicle?

Those are frigates of an unknown class. Those are the kind of frigates that would actually follow a battle group around instead of the dildo frigates used to patrol the backwater regions.

Just a quick one (not really up on the all the EU stuff - live in a wee town that is the armpit of the universe - so getting stuff can be problematic at times) but just what version of the AT-ST line are the chicken walkers in I.M.P.S. I'm mean they appear slightly smaller than standard and have an AT-AT style cockipt 'visor' as opposed to the classic two hatches on the AT-ST?

Any ideas people, certainly think that they are two large and upright to be anything like the AT-PT's I have data on - puzzling, although I did like the female's drivers outfit (helmet appeared to part Stormy part modern fighter pilots helmet) - would have loved the Probe droid to vape itself at her request also!

I remeber seeing that type of walker in the Rouge Squadron comics. If you look up the technical comentaries I'm sure it will have data on that type of walker.

It could be an AT-ST as AT-ST in Hoth had the visor instead of the Hatches.

Did the AT-STs at Hoth really have visors? Can you see it in the movie?

when luke falls to the ground there's AT-ST that IIRC had a visor like viewport and there in the EU anyway so it doesn't matter as most of the time you can't see the front of the AT-STs in Hoth.

Actually, I saw the E-Wing in the lower left-hand side when the two shuttles start to enter the cityscape, with the red skyline. Which is before the flyby of the stormtrooper with the heavy blaster. But I could have missed it in the second shot.

Yeah I think there are two E-Wings because theres that one then there is a second one right after that. I forgot the first one for what ever reason. :?

Hrm. I just saw it, and I was utterly underwhelmed. The joke deliveries were off, the jokes weren't good anyway, the Storm Troopers showed no skills whatsoever and Boba Fett's appearence was gratuitous.

I did, however, just love how you could see some Xenos slinking in the shadows as the stormtroopers approached the predators.
Why wonder why? The answer is simple: obviously, someone somewhere decided that he or she needed Baby Jesus up the ass.
