A SW vs. ST question

NX-class (as of season 4) vs. any SW capship. Has anybody suggested this vs. and has anybody (aka any rabid trekkie) suggested that it would anything other then compleat SW victory.

it heavily upgraded for season 3 and had some addional upgrades in season 4 (aka it at its most powerfull form in season 4), so no.

Just to make the record straight. I do not belive that NX-01 or even NCC-1701-E would any chance against any SW capship.

OK this why Season 4 NX

Season 1&2 NX:2 Phase cannons and Spatial torps (nukes) and could survive against Klingon, Andorians or Vulcans
Season 3: 4 Phase Cannons and Photon(ic) torps, but still couldn't hold it own against Klingons or Xindi with out tricks or help.
Season 4: same weapons season 3, but now able hold it own (at least for some) against Klingon or Vulcan fleets.

Against obsolete Vulcan scout craft that were part of the Vulcan equivalent of the Coast Guard. Performance against Kingons was better, but not stellar; one D5 and two BoP's comfortably defeated two NX-class ships.

And the phase cannons were intorduced mid-season 1, IIRC - the episode where the NX accidentally blows up a hill on an asteroid.

yeat in S3 a single BOP was more then match for NX-01 (the other 2 left before that due different reason), also it should noted that neither cases did the Enterprise had damage to same extent as against the Xindi in season 3 (and Regular Xindi ships are nothing to write home about) and then there the Romulan Probe that could destroy A Kumari class Andorian warship (disguised as enemy of Andorians), but 2 of those couldn't destroy the NX-01.

I agree that the ship was upgraded, I'm just saying that it didn't become a ZOMG T3H UBER D'Kyr-killer; the ship frequently had it's ass handed back to it.

Has anyone ever done any calculations on ENT-era tech ? We've got a few shots against known targets (the asteroid test in season one, the attack on the moon by the verteron array) and some idea of armour capability (trailing a comet through the atmosphere in a shuttlepod).

we also know that shuttle pod can't take WWII .50 cal MG hits.

It got hit by three .50 shots and still managed to break orbit and rendez-vous with the Enterprise. Also, I think - but I'm not sure - that the polarising wasn't active during the attack.

do the shuttles even Polarized plating, I thought it was capship exclusive feature.

I used to think so too, but Mayweather said the plating went down during the asteroid chase in Terra Prime.

Well we do know that MU Vulcan cruiser is no match for a connie (the Defiant), and since Movie era ships aren't that good in TNG we can that ENT era ship are weaker then TOS/TNG era ships.

the verteron array is ground based, so it possible for it have large and powerfull reactor and Phase cannons are NDF weapons there's really not that good examples of ENT era firepower (apart of "In a mirror, darkly")
