Star Trek Games...any rumors?

Post by Kamakazie Sith »

Has anyone heard of rumors for new Star Trek games?

(besides the MMO that's coming out)

I wish they would remake Birth of the Federation or make something like it. That game had potential if it weren't for all the bugs which seem to plague a majority of Star Trek games.

Another Elite Force game would do well. Or some other infantry shooter taking place during the Dominion War.

Bridge Commander 2 is being produced. Once again we are being promised realism, but I'll believe that when I see it.

If they are working on BC2 then they're not saying anything about it. At least that I can find.

I ran on a search on Bridge Commander 2 and all that I got were third party sites working on various mods called BC2.

There's going to be a fan released Birth of the federation 2. It's unofficial, but it might be interesting. http://botfii.armadafleetcommand.com/ Supposed to come out in December but I don't know if that's confirmed or not.

The second one was terrible. 90% of the fuckin' game is shooting bugs.

The first one wasn't much better in that regard. And the bugs in the first one were even more annoying. Besides, a LOT of games are going the bug killing route. Though thats why I suggested the whole EF3 Dominion War setting type game.

The first one irritated me to no end because there would be these battles where the enemies just keep transporting in.

Its a common problem with some shooters and a lot of space sim games. They can't get enough enemies on screen to fight at once due to hardware limititations, so instead you have wave after wave of enemies spawn.

Personally, I wouldn't mind another Honour Guard game.
What is Project Zohar?

Here's to a certain mostly harmless nutcase.
