This is not necessarily true. Most people their first time do a low dosage which isnt nearly as strong or "good" as when they take a high dose later.

Also "chasing the dragon" is used to refer to smoking opium
I refered to my Percocet/Oxycontin problems as "chasing the dragon" and I know several others that refer to it the same way.

well it has evolved in slang terminology to mean "taking opiates" in general, but it traditionally has a very specific meaning.

That is correct, it distinctly means smoking opium and hitting the point where your body feels no pain.

Also, I am completely suprised that Cpl Kendall has not developed some type of functionality disorder regarding his kidney's and liver, that is very common in pain-killer addicts, almost a tell tale sign so to speak.

I think I just got lucky, either that or I have strong organs which given the fact that my heart survived 70,000 volts doesn't surprise me.

Uh yeah, I'd say he does as well. It still doesn't mean that something won't pop up when he gets the tests done, which I will be encouraging him to do now, thanks to your comment Darth Mortis :)

That, indeed, would be a good thing to do.

It's funny, the body can withstand far more than the mind will allow...

But checking it out soon would be a good thing! Get those guilt trips in order and get the man checked out, that's an order!
