As Soviet forces touch down in America, they deploy their giant Psychic Beacons to twist the minds of their conquered subjects. However, these psychic waves reach across space and time...

...in the Marvelverse, these psychic emanations do two things; the first is to open a warp portal that brings the Justice League, the X-Men, and the ORIGINIAL Power Rangers into America circa 2000.

The other effect of the emanations is to set all three groups against each other. None will rest until both of their foes are dead.

Disgusted by the devestation wrought by these feuding powers, Frank Castle, the Punisher, sets out to destroy them all; however, all three groups are well aware of this and will actively attempt to thwart or destroy him in addition to battling the other two forces.

Who is left standing?

The Power Rangers are beaten by Wolverine alone.

The X-Men are taken down by SuperMan alone, if he isn't affected by any mental attacks by Prof. X.

Even if not killed, Wolverine can be put into some serious pain with their megacannon. Not to mention a zord stepping on him will pretty much take him out for the count.

Hmm people seem to be giving this to the JLA based on Supes but really is this correct? first of letds deal with the JLA's other backups... Martian man hunter first, gets taken out by Jean Grey, second strongest psychic in the Marvel verse, and more than a match for the man hunter... (I'm saving the prof for later)

Batman meets admantium Claws, A healing factor, Martial arts to rival and excel his own, Combat and survival instincts so deeply ingrained that... oh and tracking abilties that make Bats look outdated. In the end it's a bloody afair, just the way wolvie likes it... On the way he takes out the Flash, how.. the way he could have taken Quicksilver out in the Ultimate X-men, holds his fist out with the Claws out, and waits for the target to hit them, Quicksilver managed to stop, but then he's slower than the Flash....

Now it gets interesting, Green Lantens a Problem, maybe more so than Superman, as he's only limited by his imagination, so bring on the Prof, who shuts his mind off... (if he can do it too magneto he can do it the Green Lanten)
But I don't want to keep pulling the Prof out, so who can take on the might of Superman... I choose Cannonball. (Okay he isn't currently to the best of my knowladge an X-Man but this is a dream team for both sides, I'll add Captin Marvel for the Justice League) The Boy wonder who can take on Gladiator, a being easily a match for Superman... and oh he can beat Gladiator, that Blasting field makes him invincible when he's using it, and he can redirect the force of anything that impacts on it... added to that he can now control the field to allow him to hover when using it....
Captain Marvel is beaten by Storm, Nuff said... it's storm, she uses a similar tactic to Thor, but uses the weather more to weaken Captain Marvel down.
Okay anyone missed their from either side, yep I havn't used Cyclops yet, I see him running interferance here and there, maybe countering Wonder Woman and a so forth...

You forget that most of the JLA have super speed. As soon as the starting bell rings they're zipping around at light speed taking out people left and right. That's really their biggest advantage. The Flash can take out half the X-men before they even registered that the starting bell has rung!

Or if we REALLY wanted to get mean, Superman flies into orbit and plays Heat Vision Sniper.

Forget nah, I'm kind of counting on it at times, but see the X-Men oh sod it I prefer the X-Men... so lets see. Okay I'm adding for the super speed side, Psylocke, yep she may not have Mental powers at the moment. (I'm a little behind as I collect the UK Collected stuff so bear with me if their have been changes) but she can enter the shadow realm and emerge in the blink of an eye from it anywhere she wants. We also have Kurt who can jump around via teleporting. (Kurt here also fulfils the role of Team scientist/mechanic sure Beast is better but Kurt does in a pinch...) But now we have to balance the numbers again. Obviously erm, my knowladge of the JLA is a little low so can anyone suggest.

As for Flash taking out people before they realise the starting bell has gone off, how exactly, yes he's fast but he's not invincible, or superstrong. How's he going to take wolvie down, or rogue... damn I forgot rogue okay I'm starting again.... bear with me as I'll soon have a new post up!

Right then For starter's heres my X-Men Dream Team... and how they respond to JLA regulars that I know of. by no means a diffintive list of the JLA First the X-Men line up...

Prof X cos he's the Professor.
Jean Grey.
Joseph... a Younger more raw power version of Magneto... (Less experiance)
Wolverine... Nuff said.
Rogue... It's Rogue
Storm... Weather witch, Goddess... and more.
Kurt... For the teleporting madness.
Shadowcat, Ninja and with the abilty to go insubstantial. Trained by Wolvie, and if you hurt her, well Wolvie's not going to be impressed....
Cannon Ball, for reasons expressed above.
and my final choice for the team, Cable, why Cable well not only does he bring more Telekinetic powers to the mix for the X-Men, but he's got Combat experiance second only to Wolvie, is the one prophecised to take out Apocalpyse and is someone you don't want to cross...

How do they handle the JLA, Punisher and the Power Rangers...
Well first off lets deal with the power ranger's I forsee little enough problems, the power Ranger's always fight first off in hand to hand combat before getting into the Droids, in fact the only use the Robots when the monster increases in size, their guns are used primary as the final blow, or a method of distracting as they close in... this time through they have to deal with the X-Men's hand to hand Combat team... Wolvie, Shadowcat, and Cable... (I'm going to skip the others no need to go overboard.)

Meanwhile Rogue is detailed to delay Superman. (No claiming space sniping either when has he EVER done that?) Flesh to flesh contact is all that is needed and Superman drops out of the fight and the JLA will be facing Rogue+Superman... that should distract for long enough. (In fact during this stage the Flash is taken out) Martian Manhunter is held up by the Profesor and taken out. Jean Grey deals with Wonder Women... perhaps with Storms help.

What About batman through, well heres where the X-Men get cunning they let batman and the Punisher take each other on. Batman because Punisher kills he murder's none of the others do that so he's prime target, whatever the result of that match is okay by the X-men.

By now the Power Rangers are out of the fight, they are facing two/three martial artists, one of which is described as the best their is at what he does... it's short and sweat... the rest will need a description of whose in the JLA, make it roughly the same number as are in the X-Men...

For Super Speed, the issue is not SPEED, it's REACTION TIME. A teleporter moves fast, but needs a fraction of a second to orient himself and teleport. A Speedster moving at the speed of light has vastly increased reaction time. Remember, in Flash-vision it looks like the entire world is standing still and only he is moving. In this scenario, he can take out anyone not immune to fists simply by punching them to death. At light speed, Flash can travel over 30,000 kilometers in a tenth of a second. They, literally, would not know what hit them.

This eliminates Professor X, Wolverine, Storm, and Kurt 1/10th of a second after the starting bell. Jean, Joseph, Cannon Ball, Shadowcat, and Cable are also gone unless they start their fight with with either shields up, or being intangable.

Now all the X-men have to do is worry about two people with superspeed AND superstrength, one person with superspeed and supersrength and intangibility and shapeshifting and telepathy, one person who can create constructs which are for all intents and purposes indistructable, and Batman.

Note: I am ignoring the Power Rangers and Punisher in this one. Assume that in the entire time they are fituly hammering away on Superman's invnicible hide.

Possibly Kurt but Note Kurt's never had to oritate himself actually he teleports in and starts a conversation off straight away, he's really good at it, being doing it longer than the current Flash after all. So Now we have Flash out the way, we have a formidable array of powers from the JLA, but we have a formidable array against them if we are ignoring the Power Rangers then Wolvie, Shadowcat and Cable are free to act, Batman meets Wolvie, and a Slobberknocker occurs, but Wolvie walks out the winner... (Actually I have a side note after this) Meanwhile The Green Lantern finds Shadowcat approaching him, his constructs are missing the intanbale women as she creeps forwar. Man Humter's in a mind war, with two of the X-mens three Telepaths, and Wonder Woman meets Canon Ball... Rogue goes after Superman, and as Supes likes to fight hand to hand, finds himself the victim of the Southern Belle. More to come when I know who the X-Men face in the JLA, I need names sorry, once I have the names I'll know who you mena but I need the names...

SHOOT me please... I said I have a side note then forgot to put what it was... so here it is. I am searching for any (Good) Crossover's between Batman and Wolverine. (With or without the rest of the X-Men) Fanfiction or DC/Marvel collaberation. If anyone knows of any on the net, or th titles of any comics please tell me. (Note I don't mean the amalgram universe where they merged Wolvie and Batman into one character I mean where the two actually meet)

But Quicksilver also lacks the ability to vibrate his molecules to pass through solid objects, like the Flash does.

And the Flash has reaction times capable of turning around before the k in Snikt.

Well, when Lord Zedd first showed up, they summoned the zords right away against his Pirahntishead monster before he grew. And if you're hypothesizing that the other rangers are getting beaten, you can bet the last of them will pull out the robots really fast. And the green ranger's shield is capable of repelling all attacks made against him.

True, thats why I've revised the tactic by including Joseph, and/or rogue... Joseph with very little effort can more than counter Flash, and in fact should prove a challange for a quite a fair portion of the JLA single handedly... (being a suped up version of Magneto, I feel it's a little cheating actually to include him as he's dead now, he burnt himself up...(Joseph was a Clone of Magneto, but without Magneto's mental blocks to prevent himself overreaching and killing himself. Joseph had no such blocks and so was what magneto could achieve if he didn't mind killing himself in the process, he fixed almsot singlehandedly (Xavier kept him together mentally) the Earth's Magnetic field after Magneto, with the aid of a device fubard it up...) However as stated this is a Dream team... anyway with a Superman enhanced Rogue the issue becomes moot... theres your Superspeed coupled with Super Strength, I am not relaying on Joseph at any point, he just makes it easier... and if people like I'll replace him with someone, due to his status as DEAD DEAD, and erm Dead...

Power Ranger are definatly the first to go, if not buy everyone else laughing at them cuz of their gesturing and poses for every damn thing, then the Punisher gets them for the simple fact that he is wearing black and everyone knows that the Power Rangers always get their pansy asses handed to them by sombody in black till that floating fat head guy pulls stronger robots outta his ass that he shoulda gave to them in the first place. PLus the Bad guys always seem to aim for their feet. Big Pun will just pop a cap in their collective candy asses with his assualt rifle of the month.

The JLA and the X-men are the real fight here. I'm going buy pure coolness and potential coolness factor....and maybe some personal bias

Nightcrawler(yeah thats right) takes out Supes? How? That little 'take your head away'(TM) manuver he did on Deadpool in Age of Apocolips. Wolvie takes out Bats in a long winded fight that takes them away from the rest of the fight and isnt over till 12 hours later when Batman forgot to take his bat-medacine and starts to have backcramps
Prof X makes the Lantern see things that arent their, so he cant make his big-green-heavy-anvil-of-despair. PLus half of the X-men outfits are made of yellow so he would have a tough time anyway.
Jean Grey and Martian Manhunter have a fight of wills till their foreheads get sweaty, then they come to a realization that the both identity/place in the world of humans issues, so they take an excedren and have a cup of tea.
Aquaman catches a stray Punisher bullet in his good eye while he is trying to figure out how his ability to talk to fish will help him in this situation.

Wonder Woman tries to use her lasso of truth on Cyclops and the only remark she gets is "Damn you got big tits" then he blasts her in the noggin

The Flash loses cuz he sneezes at 5000mph and suffers a fatal concussion after he finds out he is allegic to the Beasts fur.

Flash has all the time in the world for Wolverine. He can jog down to Ace Hardware, grab a few pitons off the shelf, jog back, and stick them in Wolverine eye sockets and wiggle it around in his brain for good measure, and the sound of the starting bell still hasn't propagated through his inner ear yet. This is a person who cam make Superman look like a statue, and Superman moves at .99 times the speed of light in atmosphere. Nightcrawler still has to THINK about teleporting, which is more than enough for Flash to grab a pick from Garden Exchange and smash his head in.

Oh, they have pre-planning, eh? Well, then in that case, Green Lantern has already erected one of his patented everything-proof shields around his friends. Naturally, they can't actually proceed to shut down his mind until the fight actually starts. Then, they have to think about it first. Here's a little piece of trivia. It takes 1-2 milisecond for ONE action potential to trigger in a human brain. Moving at .99 the speed of Light, Superman can travel 300 kilometers in that time. That's easily enough to clean the clock of every opposing telepath before they so much as even register the starting bell. They can think a thousand times faster han normal humans, and it still won't help. They can think ten thousand times faster, and all that means is that it will take two or three action potentials before Superman (with Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter) finishes pounding them into goo.

First of all, I think the way this fight starts is going to have a big effect on its outcome. Are all three teams (and Punisher) gathered into a single area and start slaughtering each other at the same time? Or are they set loose on different sides of some city with time to prepare and hunt each other down? The first scenario will give the JLA a HUGE advantage due to their speedsters, while the second allows for a lot more tactics to be used by each side.

Also, I think that the Power Rangers are being seriously underestimated here. As goofy as they are, saying that they'll get crushed because of their silly poses is style over substance, and we should give them a fair chance by looking at their abilities objectively. And after watching some episodes while babysitting my 7 year old cousin, I've got to say that they're no pushovers. They demonstrate exceptional leaping abilities, capable of jumping from the ground to the top of their 100 ft robots quite easily. They're also insanely durable. They can shrug off falling from the top of skyscrapers and getting cars thrown at them. They can also take numerous sword slashes from monsters with presumably superhuman strength, with nothing to show for it but small scorch marks on their suits.

There's something else that will have a big effect on this debate. Are we assuming that the gloves are coming off and that each side will do anything within their powers, or will they fight as they normally do? Each side can do things that for some reason don't get used in most of their fights. The JLA's speedsters should easily be able to end most fights within fractions of a second, but they don't. Xavier can mindwipe the other side's most powerful members, and the Rangers could probably squish half their enemies here by calling in their robots first thing.

Also, what kind of weaponry does the Punisher get to hunt these teams down with?

Power Rangers kick everyone's ass. Their capabilities are not to be laughed at, despite their ridiculous drug induced poses and gestures everytime they do anything- including moving and talking.
