I do not claim to have educated him, but I never gave up. And BTW, that's crap about our using bans to ignore people. We let DarkStar stay on this site for a LONG time--well after the time in which SB.com members are ignored. He was only banned by his own request, much later. Sorry, but this is more than a difference in philosophy. This is a problem with SB.com that I don't have the time to deal with.

Went back to SB to debate more with Darkstar, but the site seems to have issues right now, so I'll call it a night. I'll not switch the man to any point of view than that which he holds anyway...

Apparently they still have not tired of DarkStar. This Vypr guy must have been around for a hell of a long time, for him to be on worse standing than the master of stupidity.

SB.com will ban somebody the minute they trash a mod or use foul language against him IIRC. I suspect that if Darkstar ran around screaming that Kier is a "gaping pussy" over and over and daring him to ban his ass, he would do it.

Depends on the Mod, his/her mood, and the offender. Some of the Mods are jack booted assholes and others can take some flames.

Well they will, I tend to avoid threads that Darkstar is involved in. Because it's always the same routine. Darkstar makes a ridiculous claim, people try to explain the stupididy of said ridiculous claim, Darkstar ignores others and then repeats same claim again.

If you recall when you were involved in that hoax, many welcomed you and were looking forward to your involvement......including myself. IIRC when you talked about it on your updates page it almost sounded like you were surprised.

Ohh please, it is very obvious that DarkStar does indeed suck, but the general gist of this thread from the first page onwards is that SB sucks a long with him. My comment about SB.com being willing to ban people was not intended as a slam. I was only pointing out the extreme fallacy of their claim that we reflexively ban anyone who disagrees with me personally, pointing out that Darkstar's behaviour would have probably gotten him banned at most places.

If DarkStar did that I'd ban him a second. Don't you worry about that. Thing is, he hasn't yet. He usually ejects himself from debates, calling himself the winner, before he gets to the points where our contructed rebuttals (those of us who could be bothered now that is) make him angry.

He's like the evil villain that always gets away at the last second before anyone can see him doing anything worth banning. Hopefully he'll end up like Al Capone did with the tax evasion, and we'll ban him permanantly for something relativley minor.

And that's the point here.

What the people of this site fail to realise that is that DipShit isn't tolerated in any way. We hate him as much as the next brain-dead Trekkie/5'ver/Warsie who comes in talking shit. Thing is, unlike this place and ASVS, SB.com is not a debating site by design and as a result the greater majority of us simply don't care enough to deal with him.

Furthurmore we've had "Wall of Ignorance" debators before, long before, YEARS before DeadBeat ever showed his spacious cranium at SB.com, and they really suck the energy and the will to give-a-shit from you and as a result you tend to ignore them and let them do whatever the hell they want.

Then there are those who support DumbFuck and his antics, most notably E1701. But, as nice as the guy is normally, E is just as hard-headed when it comes to VS debates.
