OK, my tattoo design.

I decided not to bother with the other thread anymore, if a mod wishes they can move the new posts from that thread to this.

I've sat up for a long time now. I began with this:

Then I got some help, somebody blew up the image alot:

From that I made this:

No but a high quality print out is never wrong.

The cross would be on the right upper arm, ashigh as possible, so those tribal markings would be somewhere on my shoulder.

However there's still the matter of thinking long and hard about this and to see what it'd cost and wheter I can afford it or not.

Comments/critique would be nice though.

If I had to rate that design with one word, it would be: "Bitchin'."

Though I think it would look neat on your chest or back. It just seems to "grand" for an arm, unless you're Ahnuld.

Well, what if I am?

Anyway what I am reminded of with the swirly things like that is the tattoo George Clooney had in the movie "From Dusk 'till Dawn"

Interesting design, but I'd never defile myself with that symbol.

Just remember to ask yourself if you're going to think that looks cool when you're 80. I have nothing against tatoos if you have to have one, but I can't help but remember my late grandfather's best friend, who had a tatoo of a ladyfriend's name wrapped with some vines that he got in WWII - a lady who died a year later, and whose name this poor fellow had to carry on his chest the rest of his life. I can't imagine how that amused his wife, come to think.

You might also want to give some thought as to how that'll appear on your physique when you get older and your skin is such that the picture changes from cool jagged flames to a representation of the Loopy Joe waterslide from your local theme park.
Note: I'm semi-retired from the board, so if you need something, please be patient.

Yeah but what can you do about that? It's going to look pretty shitty even without tattoos, atleast it doesn't start to sag in those places on men until weare so old that we shouldn't be displaying our bare arms anyway.

I see no point in thinking like that, I doubt I'll even make 80 and if I do I want to look 20, otherwise nothing about me will be remotely cool by then, with or without tattoos.

Yeah, crosses look nice, so do swastikas but the stigma there is way way way way too big.

Is it possible to implant little blue things behind your ears, so that with all-blue contacts you get the J. C. Denton look?

Here's what I am working on now, the hellsing tattoo, replaced the text with cyrillic but the meaning is the same, except for the outer text, I do not recognize the language nor script so I just replaced it with a passage from revelations.

Image

It is not done yet, I am not sure about the outermost text, I have not added all the symbols and neither am I certain that I will keep the pentagram pointing upwards.

Comments, good, bad, it doesn't matter. Pretty please.

Both are pretty neat.

Personally if I wanted a tattoo, I'd have the old-style "crow's foot" Zeon symbol.

Its nice, but you'll probably have trouble walking around with a pentagram on your body.

I was actually serious with this post. Can they do the little blue things?

I'm only guessing, but I think there's a chance that it might be easier to do in Finland compared to the US or Canada.

The Cyrilic is a damn cool idea. Get it.

@YT300000:
I´m not hundred percent sure but i think a pentagram tatoo is not problematic here. You might get a strange look once in a while but that´s probably it.

That's true, but it still might make an job interview akward if you're wearing the Sign of Satan (TM).

This is of course precluded if its in a covered area.

We'll see, I sorta go into designing a more traditional tribal design and I really like the way it comes out in poser.
