I'm intrigued about the "4.2 gigaton phaser" bullshit on their main page from Masks.
Thanks, Ender! I found the thread in question. Sean sure knows his business.
Where's that thread? Sean and I toyed around with the strangely growing torps a couple months back.
Unfortunately it seems as if it wasn't the correct thread after all, but it was enough for me to look at the scene in question more thoroughly (strangely enough, it's one of the scenes that Dorkstar uses as "evidence" for "photon torpedo central glow growth").
Anyway, here's the thread I found: http://bbs.stardestroyer.net/viewtopic.php?p=1076651
It seems as if we've devolved into the "Fusion Reactors" Argument, do they even have a clue that fusion doesn't nessecarily mean Nuclear Fusion? Apparently not.
Another argument of theirs is now that the Republic is Morally Bankrupt because they "Enslave sentient robots"

Not to forget that the trekkies claims that "all the scripts are canon" and uses the rough draft (dated April 1974) and the first draft (dated July 1974) to "prove" that the power generation is fusion based.

Oh yes, how could I bloody forget that...
Hmm... how to beat an opponent in a game with constantly changing rules...
That's perhaps one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in a debate. And mind you, I've heard a lot (such as getting DarkStar to reveal that one doozy).
I believe in a sign of Zeta.

Ages ago I was able to make DarkStar to admit that he believed SW humans had naturally occuring metal in their bones, in a debate that at one point had gotten around to images of Vader's bones glowing while being hit by Palpatine's Force lightning.

Don't hypothesise about a debate that took place three years ago that you were never part of with someone who was a primary participant. It only serves to make you look more foolish.
That part of the discussion featured an image from SWTC (itself from the Star Wars Chronicles book) of the original cell element used for the film, specifically of Darth Vader's head and neck. Two of Vader's neck vertebrea are completely artificial in composition, appearing completely black compared to the general lesser opacity of the surrounding bones.
That is what was the subject matter of the debate, so I would appreciate it if you didn't insult my intelligence by just making shit up when you don't know what you're talking about.
Besides, I belive Anakin's transmitter was removed before he left Tatooine.

Actually, I would like to retract a portion of my previous post, specifically where it sounds like I"m accusing you of assuming what the debate was about or what DarkStar's position might have been based on, rather than the truth being that you were simply throwing out a stupid suggestion.

Additionally, I would like to revise my last statement, instead that I am actually completely positive that Anakin's transmitter was removed when he was freed.

Maybe.. the novel mentions that it was only deactivated...
But it's entirely possible to be any number of things without being a false vertebrate... especially since we didn't see anakin break his neck. It could be some sort of neural adaptor so his prosthetic limbs actually work.

I believe there was a missing scene from Episode One (which you can see as an extra on the DVD) where Anakin and Qui Gon went to Watto's after the pod race to have Anakin's transmitter removed.

Looking at that picture here http://www.theforce.net/swtc/injuries.html#skeleton it appears that it's more than just a couple of vertibrae that are replaced...there's metal reinforcements extending from his neck into his torso and it looks like his collarbones are metal as well. It could be that he suffered injuries to his neck and spine after ROTS and required more work, or it could be that his injuries in ROTS were simplified for dramatic effect.
Or maybe, just maybe we can use LOGICAL DEDUCTION.
Okay then, there's two things it could possibly be,
1: A Spinal Replacement
2: Some sort of Neural Adaptor which was installed in order for him to move his mechanical limb... this also fits in with the fact that Luke had an electrical tingling in the back of his neck during one of the EU Books... the first one with Thrawn in it.

One should also learn to provide proof when trying to show that one's leap of logic is the correct one instead of just blithering out random statements.
Given the destruction of his body from exposure to those gases and the deterioation of his body, you say he can't because he didn't break his neck?!
Show that this destruction of his body never affected that particular part of his skeleton.

I never said that...

I said that there were other possibilities... nothing more.
The thing about debating Darkstar or his ilk is not even try to win, but rather make give as idiotic statement possible (it's impossible to win in debate on their turf as their canon policy boils down to "what hurts my arguments is non-canon".
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

I prefer using actual thought and deductive reasoning based on documented evidence rather this kind of random dartboard method you and your ilk employ, which seems to be just for the sake that you can "participate" in a discussion.

Then prove some of this you mealy mouthed moron!
Fucking A, I could imagine possibilities of any of SW situations! Does not make a single one of them any more valid then Rove saying he's the second coming of Mohammed!

Yes, absolutely. And add on top of that their inability to assess the available evidence before spouting things. For example, the claim that "Warp is capable of 1 million c" despite the complete lack of evidence for such capabilities.
