And what, exactly, makes you think that ?
The fact that megaton range warheads are serious threats to capital ships, the low accel for sci-fi(5-600 Gs is pretty low key), the slow FTL speeds, the lack of long range ftl communications, and the inability to destroy a planet in a single shot. Honor Harrington is the least powerful universe that Weber has created.
So? Just the fact that they can go FTL, or even build capital ships is enough to justify high-tech. You can't compare it to other sci-fi universes and say it's not high-tech.

what about the ship that Earth uses in the Kurt Russel movie Soldier? Bad ass looking ship briming with pointy things. But the ISD is a classic. A lotta ppl are slagging it off lately, EU has spoilt them, but back when they 1st saw ANH i bet their hearts were in their throats.

Ugliest mother, I thought the "cats" could do something more pretty...

I'll have to go with Homeworld's Heavy Cruiser's, four ion beams, six mass drivers and tough bitches to bring down.

Don't use such big pics, because it really screws up the size. It's really fucking annoying, you know that?

Yeah, I effed up. It's supposed to be a beautifully rendered image of aTallahassee CL, but I got the upload off by one number (well, several actually) and it ended up as a beautifully rendered image of a bomber. Dammit.

This should be right:

Actually, I like the Taiidan the most.
