Got this annoying thing a few days now. If anyone shows a pic in a topic, I cannot see it (it keeps loading... and loading.... and loading). Same with avatars.
Now comes the tricky part. Its like 95% of the time (sometimes it does show everything as it should).
I mean... what the hell? Is this caused by some evil firewall, shitty connection or my shitty computer?
PC at work has trouble showing pics in internet explorer

Yes, we all know by now how special and insanely different you are.Dakarne wrote:Sort of fits that I use IE frequently...
On topic: Just had another idea. It could be that in your Windows network settings, the maximum number of possible simultaneous connections is set wrong - so your browser appears to be loading and loading, but only does so because it can't load the images at the same time. Just a guess.

Possible, but since this image loading appears to be all-or-nothing, I doubt it. Not that I'm an expert. It could be that in your Windows network settings, the maximum number of possible simultaneous connections is set wrong - so your browser appears to be loading and loading, but only does so because it can't load the images at the same time. Him mentioning that it's a work PC suggests that it may be a security suite that's blocking the images.
