Ok, Sweet needs to loose the fucking attitude. He just doesn't comprehend or accept what CJ has been doing. Who got Sweet out of prison? Who kept Kendel safe? Eh?

Sweet should have been left alone in the Grove.

Geeze that last level is a bitch. Getting out of the burning down factory is a real pain in the ass. I have the minigun and plenty of ammo, I am fireproof, but getting out of that factory with all the flames blocking your view of all the guys with guns. Geeze.

Yeah, I hated that level. First you fight your way in, then out (where'd all the extra homies come from?), then that damned "make sure your brother doesn't fall on the pavement!" part. Ugh.

I loved that mission. And I wasn't fireproof. I loved all the close calls I had on that mission.

I'll try to keep the spoilers out, but I might not be completely successful:

When I was trying to get out of the burning building, I couldn't figure out how to put out the fire on a door. It seemed nothing I did worked. Hell, I was rapidly losing health due to being burned look for the damn perfect positon to put the out fire. Must have held me up for one or two minutes.

I finally get past that, with a small sliver of health left, and time rapidly running out. I didn't bother trying to take cover while taking out the guards. There was no time for that. I just shot them as I ran past.

I finally made it down to the bottom with under a minute left. I shoot the guards, but with 30 seconds left I got stuck at a fire I couldn't put out again! I finally put it out with what must have been 15 seconds on the clock. I hauled ass for the door, completely ignoring the rest of the guards.

5, 4, 3, 2.....

I was right about to pass the final corner but I knew I wouldn't make it in time. Suddenly, this cinematic comes on of the building blowing up and Carl trying to get the hell out of dodge. I didn't know if he died or not.

The cinematic continues and I MADE IT!

So after that I had to chase down the firetruck and save Sweet's stupid ass. So I follow for a few minutes, and as I was falling behind, Sweet's grip meter appeared. I step on the gas, but the truck had a pretty good lead on me. Just as Sweet's grip meter is about to run out, I get under the ladder. If I was five seconds later, he would be street pizza (which wouldn't be all that bad).

So Sweet gets into the driver position, and I start shooting. I hate it when I have to do that. I suck at it. This especially showed when those crazy bikers showed up. I couldn't hit them at all. Consequently, the car's health going down.

The car's health meter started to look a lot like my health meter. Just the tiniest bit of life left. That was pissing me off, because I did not want to do that mission again. Fortunately, that's when Tenpenny did his thing.

With all the close calls on that mission, and the exhilaration at finishing, that was my fovorite mission of the game.

What really pissed me off was that stupid Sweet didn't want to land in the car. I had the car just under him and he still managed to fall THROUGH the car. Ugh.

Just getting out of the burning building with all those guys shooting at you is insane. You can't fucking see them and you can't blood run!

Well I just completed the Vigilante missions in order to get the armor boost. Gonna try the Ambulance missions shortly.

Firefighter was fairly easy. Vigilante in a bike or cop car isn't easy. Using the tank, its easy. I've heard there are two particular spots in the game where the ambulance missions are absurdly easy because everyone spawns in a small town and there is a local hospital to drop them off at. Gonna try that. This will give me full stats boost to try the last mission once again.

The last mission I did 5 times. The first 4 times, I failed, because Sweet, once more, WAS A USELESS FUCK who can't even FALL into a fucking car (despite the fact that I'm right under him for the first 99.9% of the pursuit and only fall back marginally when the firetruck goes to fucking warpspeed on the final straight). The fifth time I breezed right through...

And people had a problem with the shootout inside - both on the way in AND out? I did that without a fucking problem - M4 skill maxed out = t3h win.

So for those who bothered with the ambulance? Does it increase your health beyond that "Max Health" stat that you increase every so often just by running around? Because that's how I maxed out my health in my game, and I never bothered with the ambulance missions.

I think the Ambluance stuff lets you max it a little further then you would else wise. Doing ambulance missions is certainly a faster way of getting the health.

Getting in was easy. Getting out through the fire wasn't.

Now this pisses me off. I'm in boating school and I accidently flip a boat, it says "wasted" and it kills me and I loose everything I've collected. Fucking pathetic.

Which is why you save after every mission and everytime you pass a hideout.

Why are you looking at me like that? I *LIKE* my collection of gear... And, IIRC almost completely clean record - 1 hospital visit IIRC and no arrests.

I have 7 hospital visitis and that was while I was leveling up my silenced pistol skill. No arrests.

I've spent over half a million dollars on firearms.

How the fuck does it waste you? Hell I flip cars and managed to live.

I don't think I ever tried ramming the mountains in flight school though. Though I'm sure I managed to do something that stupid at one point.

You know what's fun? Getting a couple grand off a crack dealer in Los Santos (or two or three or four), getting that save house in glen Park, then betting at the Off Track Betting place. If you win, go save. If not, reload and try again.

I got over 18 million dollars that way before I'd even completed "Robbing Uncle Sam". Needless to say money is no longer a concern of mine. Need some weapons? Stock up on anything and everything Ammu-Nation has. Car mods? Property? A full wardrobe? No problem!

Sure it's taking advanatge of the system, but my pimped out Remington and my uber-buttload of SMG ammo (I haven't gotten around to where I can buy an AK-47 or M-4 yet in this particular game) say, "I don't give a fuck."

EDIT: Couple spelling errors I noticed.

Actually, a wierd thing happened i regard to health - I was able to push it past the normal max just by walking around and doing stuff, so that this green bar extended beyond the message window al the way to the other side of the screen. Mind you, I've not touched an ambulance unless absolutly nessecary, and even then never bothered with the missions.

And fer' gloatig's sake, I've got a clean slate - no cases of getting wasted, no instances of getting busted, and I've only got a few more mission attempts than completion (mainly because I occasionaly tap R3 when driving and accidentally turn on the missions of some vehicles, which I immedietly turn off).

I flipped the hover craft on a jump. Instant death in the bloody school and total loss of everything and I spawn at the hospital.

You have to be really, really patient. Like having several hours to kill patient. Sometimes, if you bring homies along, they'll pull rival gang members out of their cars and, if you happen to kill them on that little strip of rival gang territory, you can start a war.

Frankly, that part pissed me off quite a bit, too. I never saw the point.

Let me guess: the motel? The skatepark?

I was able to nail the motel by luring a few Ballas from that strip by the nearby railroad tracks: once I had them in the parking lot, I picked 'em off with three sets of five rounds rapid, and the game was on. That park, though, I'm currently working on, as I eliminated all the territories around it

The stupid mexican mafia keeps attacking my turn every time I get on the brink of starting a war, though. Lousy Whats-Their-Names.

The best way is to have no homies...

And then to wander around until you encounter an enemy gang. Run over and PUNCH one in the face. They should give chase. Run and run and run until they reach the zone you want to take. Then kill them. Voila. Gang war.

Warning: this is only a little fix for a shitty part of the game. I just found it was easier than waiting for an enemy gang to spawn.

What, you mean you aren't dating the only two girlfriends in the game who are actually useful for something? :)

Man, was I grateful for Barbara when I got busted with MY collection of gear...
