Maybe Jung was simply full of shit

From an evolutionary and biological standpoint (which I consider far more useful and objective than philosophical blatherings), our gender defines countless characteristics, effectively hard-wiring them into our behaviour (obviously, homosexuals may not follow this pattern, but they are a low-frequency variation).

I never really understood that "use the whole hand to type" method. I've been a two-finger typer since the start of my experience with computers. And I can bang out about 1200 words per hour (allowing 5 minutes for drinks, walks and general butt-scratching).

I learned to type with 10 fingers when I was 6 or 7 on one of those huge black mechanical typewriters. My parents forced me to, they said it would be useful for me later. Well, they where right.

On topic, I know several woman who are geeks.
-Girl #1 happens to be my girlfriend, though she doesn't read much sci-fi. Enjoys roleplaying games though. Would be eaten alive on this message board. Not good, since only I may eat her alive.
-Girl #2 loves StarWars and is very cool. Can hold up on her own in versus debates. All this coolness is negated, of course, by her insistances on cosplaying as Admiral Daala. Belongs to a StarWars club that routinely beats the stink off of the local Klingon StarTrek club at lasertag.
-Girl #3. La Geeka. She reads only fantasy though, but it perfect for versus debates due to her ability to never give up. Not the most logical sort though. Speaks nearly fluent Quenya.
-Girl #4. Very cool. Loves sci-fi, B-Movies, and anime. Is such an anime geek that she snorts in contempt of people who buy the dubbed version OR the subtitled version, and insists that anime must be viewed in Japanese. This is all well and good for her since she's from Yokohama, but I don't speak Japanese fluently yet. Has inexplicably blue hair.
-Girl #5. Loves anime as well, but is cool with science fiction. Barrel of larfs. video game afficienado.
