Seems to be missing some ranks, fighter pilots in both Imperial and Rebel corps were promoted to General at most IIRC.

And also IIRC Commander is higher than Captain in the Imperial fleet, ref Bacta War when Vooru meets the Commanding officer of the Victory class at Ice Hearts disposal he notes that the man is a "Commander not a mere Captain" however their naval traditions are the same as ours, you are still called Captain if your are in command of one ship, higher ranks are given for flag commands.

It also has Commander ranked below Captain in Starfighter ranks despite the fact Captain Clechu was subordinate to Commander Antillies in the X-Wing books.

Also note that although Jerajod was a Moff he was ranked as a Commander. He was in command of the fricken Death Star.

All Imperial officers had the 3 bars of Commander rank in RotJ, so it can probably be marked down as an error.
