Just saw the new Enterprise

Can this show get any dummer. Hoshi tapping out SOS and the great Capt Archer says it looks like morse code. Tpol that system is not hooked up to anything so it must be broken call trip.

Someone tell me why I watch it.

Why do I watch Enterprise?

Because, currently with the exception of Dark Angel (which finishes this week) and Voyager (currently in reruns) Enterprise is the ONLY sci-fi on TV down here in Tassie.

And 24 finishes tonight too. Which means that there will be NO good TV on anymore.

Yeah I heard 24 Day 2 is quite good...need to get 24 on DVD.

And all I'm waiting for is the lezzy episode of Hoshi and T'pol on Risa...mud wrestling. I mean the story in that one whatever it is has got to be on par with Boobyprise as it is now.

I had hopes for Enterprise, but I quickly tired of it. It started down the same road as the others. I recently saw a clip of an episode where the armory officer ( cant remember his name) told a story about his uncle dying in a sub.
It was typical Star Trek cliche about escape pods and staying at your post, yahdhahdhahda.

If you are referring to the one where Hoshi turns transparent, then I also agree it was boring. I also noticed a few possible flaws in it:

1) Unless Hoshi wore those workout clothes to the planet, they should have stayed solid, & Hoshi would have had the clothes fall off her (would've made Trip's day too "I leave this room for a few hours and she starts stripping?")

2) Doctor tells her that he has to feed the animals, so she should come back later? Why not tell her that he has to feed the animals, but is willing to listen?

3) The old plothole of how she can pass through walls, but can stand on the floor, along with breathing, etc.

4) The plot was essentially a repeat.

Possible good points - once Hoshi realized that she wasn't dead, she could have peeped around the ship for a few hours, making mental notes. She did hear how Trip felt about her, so could have hung out in his room for a few hours, enjoying the show. Then after she became solid once again, she could confront him at the dinner table, and start dropping items that show how much she knew about him.

But that might be pushing it a little too far.

The only thing interesting about that episode is that it took place in her head in the few seconds it took them to get her out of the pattern buffer (a slightly different way to weasel out).
