Online science journals

Post by mr friendly guy »

I know there are online medical journals, but I was wondering if there are any free online science journals available. In particularly literature which makes references to examples of speciation, (for my own interest).

For example talk origins lists this article

Weinberg, J. R., V. R. Starczak and P. Jora. 1992. Evidence for rapid speciation following a founder event in the laboratory. Evolution. 46:1214-1220.

as an example of observed speciation.

So far I can't seem to find this particular article online, and I doubt my local library will have it, although I may be able to request it.

Preprint server. Weight anything you find on there unless you've checked it or it says "Accepted for publication in <peer-reviewed journal>" or better.
