The crew of Galactica look professional.

Though I always liked the crew uniforms from Red Dwarf.

Besides that....umm...Imperial Commissars?

BSG Uniforms are quite logical looking. Somewhat futuristic, but also a sense of connection with modern uniforms.

The TOS movie era uniforms had a very futurstic, but still militaristic and good look to them.

I'm partial to the Necromonger armor from Chronicles Of Riddick. It looks good, and it held up well under conventional small arms fire on Cremetoria.

Peacekeepers, because it's..um awsome. As for practical/realistic looking, yeah BSG.

UNSC uniforms are pretty practical looking, a sort of cross between BSG garb and late-style Federation.

As for cool-looking, Peacekeeper, Luxan, and Cardassian are all fairly impressive.

Colonial Marines, from Aliens.
They say, "the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants and patriots." I suppose it never occurred to them that they are the tyrants, not the patriots. Those weapons are not being used to fight some kind of tyranny; they are bringing them to an event where people are getting together to talk. -Mike Wong

Late DS9, with the colored tunic and grey overcoat. The red TOS movie uniforms were also cool.

My favorite though has to be the Stargate SG-1 uniforms, because they actually look comfortable and practical at the same time.

Outside of the dress uniforms, the B5 ones are pretty cool. I especially like the security greys.

The Galactic Empire, especially the Stormtrooper corps's class A's (or whatever their non-armor ones are called).

Earth Alliance's uniforms looked pretty snazzy, with the blue uniform and the leather patch right there. That gives it an original feel. nBSG has a good array of realistic-ish uniforms that you'd expect in a near-future kind of civilization.

Though I absolutely adore imperial officer caps. The one swith the little bump? Or whatever that is? Those are neat.

The latter DS9 uniforms looked nice and spiffy. So they're my pick.

Another vote for the Galactic Empire. Though I happen to think the USMC officer's olive-drab issue uniforms are mighty spiffy too...

Prefer the NCO version, myself. We get Cuba on our brass and our sabers better.

I've always liked the black uniforms the Babylon 5 crew wore when they broke off from the Earth Alliance.

You know, I'm going with the uniforms of the Jupiter Mining Corporation from the first two seasons of Red Dwarf. Those are probably among the most realistic, and definately comfortable, uniforms that I've seen.

Honestly I think the nBSG uniforms are best followed by a 3 way tie of the ST2-6 uniforms the late DS9 uniforms and the ENT uniforms.

Why Ent you ask? Simple, Utility. The flight suits that they wear fits with the feel of ths series. This doesn't even get into the shear number of pockets that they have.

The late DS9 unfiroms and SGC uniforms.

I'm also fond of these.

Imperial Stormtrooper uniforms are very nice. As for actual combat garb though, the Colonial Marines (Aliens) get my vote.
