It's by the guy who made the incredibly sweet HL1 map Someplace Else. If you've played that, you'll know a bit of what's in store: Fun, challening combat, expertly designed levels, a small weapon selection, and plenty of story delivered via Marathon-esque transmissions.

Cool map, but how do I check the messages? I assume that the modem sound is a message.

Some people have been complaining of this on Penny Arcade, and I have no idea why it happens. Until it's figured out why, a solution can't really be found...

You probably knew this already, but for anyone interested, you can find the track featured here. It's titled "absconditus". There's a second track, "liberalitas", which will presumably appear in later episodes.
