No, it's not, and no, you shouldn't. Make no mistake, while it is relatively easy to hide on the net, if someone has sufficient motivation, it doesn't matter how well you hide, you can be found. On top of that, you'd really want to add another frivilous lawsuit to the who knows how many thousands of ones already out there?

These limp-dicked jackasses should be brought to some form of justice. This sort of shit is just more proof that because the legal system is so far behind the times that any jackass with a net connection and grudge can do pretty much anything he wants without fear of serious (if any) retribution.

You think for a moment that if someone defaced Marvel HQ like this in the real world, they'd be able to get away with it, much less even try it?

I'm starting to wonder, too. Looks like they already moved Ultimate Spider-Man 1-3 and a lot of other dotcomics to marvel.com/dotcomics...

Seems stupid to pay to keep the server running if it has no purpose but to say "Ha ha we hacked you!".

The new server is WAY slower though, and they're lost a few dotcomics that used to be there like the Venom one.

Now look what you did, you stupid hackers...

Well, they've taken the time to copy the essentials to their main server by the looks of it. Someone just has to ssh in and shut it down. Hell, I could do it from here if I knew the root password.

If you do a google search for Marvel comics the first site in the list is http://www.marvel.com/ and under that search http://dotcomics.marvel.com/ doesn't appear in at least the first 10 pages. Are you quite certain that the site you linked to actually belongs to Marvel?
