Turkey day....How fat are we now?

Post by guyver »

Well just got home from Mom and Dad's house after eatting like a pig. My question for the group is:

How much food did you shove into your face.

I did 2 plates.

My wife and I had pancakes for breakfast, and I'll be cooking some cubed steak with mashed potatoes tonight. Thanksgiving has never really meant much more to me than a day off from work...

One plate, no more or less then usual. I simply don't each much that’s not heavily processed or hot and cheese covered with sauce.

One plate. I had a half a chicken leg, some mashed potatoes, stuffing, and pumpkin pie. My parents also let me have an ounce of wine.

Finished off the evening with a couple of rum & Cokes. That generally cools one's heels and relaxes one's spirit...

Mmmmm, duck. I love duck. I love turkey, too, and it was especially good this year. A 22 pounder, not dry at all.....
