SG1: Is there always beer at O'Neill's house?

Post by CaptainChewbacca »

I can only think of one instance in which members of SG1 were at O'Neill's house and didn't have beer, and that was the ep with Mini-Jack and Loki.

Is it pretty much certain that if Jack has a guest over that at least one of them will have a beer? Even in the pilot Daniel gets a cold one.

That was only because mini-jack was a "minor". ;) That, and they were a little more pre-occupied by searching for whatever happened to Jack.

I still remember that joke in 'Citizen Joe'... Jack is telling Carter about his secret ingredient for his chicken-- 'Bet you can't guess...' 'Is it beer?' 'Uhh... *at this moment Joe comes in and levels that cute toy Beretta at him* I'll get back to you' *hangs up* Carter: 'I knew it...'

Well, look at the size of his house. And how clean it is. He obviously expects company regularly.

I keep beer in my place and its a shoe box (although it does tend to look like a war zone).

I've always wondered about that. Jack is obviously a bit of a slob, but his house is immaculate and well-appointed. Maybe he has the Queer Eye guys on retainer :D

I just like to think he keeps some Beers ready for after missions, knock back a cold one or two after saving the earth and whatnot.

He keeps the house clean for in the off chance Sam and him will decide 'to hell with the regulations'.

Plus, he's never home

To be fair, Mini-Jack did try, but Teal'c stopped him.

I know, I'm just saying that someone is ALWAYS drinking at Jack's house. If you'll recall, he says that the night before he was abducted he had a few beers.

After the SGC is revealed to the public, I bet he becomes a spokesman.

Jack: "Bet you can't guess the secret ingrediant."
Sam: "It's beer, isn't it sir?"
Jack: "How'd you know?"

He is military, so might have been brainwashed into having a clean house. Either that, or the Asgard have a secret cleaning service for heroes of the universe since they don't want to be associated with slobs. :D
