Allanon from the Shannara series vs. Gandalf
And in case you're wondering, Allanon is a poweful Druid in the Shannara series, an excellent fantasy written by Terry Brooks. To those who havent read it, I suggest you do. But, if you dont want to read it, I'll tell you about his powers. He can use 'Druid fire' to destroy his opponets, and it is quite powerful, about on the order of rippinng dozens of soldiers apart in a second. He can also form an impentrable magic shell around himself, which can defend from searing lava to other magics. He can leave his physical body in spirit form and scout and read people's thouhgts. He is over 5,000 years old and has accumulated enormous amount of knowleged and wisom. So, would he fare well against Gandalf?
