FF7:AC Promotional Leaflet Dear Final Fantasy Fans of the World, the moment has arrived, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, the full movie has been leaked by pirate group BiEN this morning (incidentally, "bien" means "well" in French and Spanish). And not only a cam or fake release, a full DVD quality release. The encoding is XviD, it is a DVD Rip Release. The film is in Japanese and the provided subtitles are also in Japanese.

Also has anyone erm... checked to see that this is real so that they can report it to the proper authorities? Is it good?

A few of us did not poke it last night just to see, and I most certainly did not download a sub track for it as well. I fully intend not to sit back in bed tonight and watch it all the way through.

It's real. There's even one version with hard-subs built in. Not that I'd know anything about that per se. . .*coughs*

Some of the music in that movie that I totally did not spend the last two hours watching seemed to be a bit inappropriate at times. Are we sure this is the final copy?

Also, coincidentally, the announcement of the U.S. release of FFX also occured on September 11th, four years ago. I know because I remember thinking "wow, great taste Square".

It was a Tuesday. Things like video games are always released on Tuesdays. Not to mention that the attacks probably occured hours after Square sent out their press release on a date that had been set for months.

Considering the murderous cost of a typical Japanese DVD (5000-10000 yen the last time I checked), I can't say I'm crying for their losses from this piracy...
