mp3 problem

Post by Jaepheth »

I resently reinstalled Windows, and on one startup, it started a scandisk and started messing with a bunch of stuff (recovering orphaned files, repairing index $xxxx or deleting index $xxxx)

Anyway, I soon noticed that some of my mp3s wouldn't play, I later updated it to SP2 once I got the internet hooked up again, and then some of the files that wouldn't play suddenly would, but some that would before won't now.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm sorry, but the number you have dialed is imaginary. Please rotate the phone by 90 degrees and try again.

Which media player are you using to play mp3s? Windows media Player, or something else? If it's WMP, use something better. Like Winamp.
