Solid Snake. The guy took on a mech for crying out loud. And when he gets dropped into a mission, he doesn't even get a gun, unlike some other Snakes.

Ah, but Solid Snake is by far the better. He's survived shit that would have killed Plisken dead. He's trained, toughedened, and an all around bad ass. Plisken gets sloppy and Solid Snake kills him dead.

I've only played Metal Gear Solid. So I don't know about more than Metal Gear Rex.
